Our clinton county speedway results lastnight. Time warm-ups first time in the car. We were in flight A timed 3rd out of 16 cars in flight A. That put us in heat 1 where i finished 3rd. Started 9th in the feature ended up finishing 14th. 50 lap race with no scheduled fuel stop. So struggled with the extra fuel load.

Since we are off again @ Linda's Speedway with the 600. The opportunity has came about to run a 305 for the inaugural cowboy classic @ clinton county speedway. I will be driving one of the Spicer 71 cars as the primary driver is out due to an injury. I'm glad I can do this because a lot nights when we ran 305s cowboy would park next to us and we ended up unloading, loading and crewing his car too. Just a way to honor a guy that raced from the late 50s through his passing this year. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

Won our heat tonight. Finally got the engine miss fixed. Started 4 in feature ended up 6th. Had a used rd12 on kind of knew it wouldnt last but it's what we had. Aiden finished 5th in his heat and went 10th to 8th in feature.

Late racing update from 7-10. Went 2 to 4 in heat and 7 to 10 in feature. New car handles great but engine continues to not run well. Pretty much missed all heat and feature race long. Have a few things we are gonna try for next week. Aiden went 1 to 1 in heat and 5 to 8 in feature.

Since we had such a long schedule break @ Linda's we decided to make a change. Now have the same chassis as the grandson...

Since we had such a long schedule break @ Linda's we decided to make a change. Now have the same chassis as the grandson. Which now allows us to use all the same parts and pull from the same set ups. Plus for me the car is much more roomier inside.

Totally missed the setup extremely loose car

Aiden
Again had an engine issue did manage a 13th place in the feature

Both cars will be @ the speedway mart and carwash show in Fredericksburg starting at 11 am

Racing update from this past Friday. First night on the track this season for me and Aidens first time in almost 2 years. He had a good night finishing 7th with my kawasaki from last year. I switched to suzuki this year and the gear I was told to run is not close to enough. I finished 10th but was down about 2,500 rpm from where it should be. We will adjust for our next race at Linda's in 2 weeks.
