🚨🏐 IMPORTANT UPDATE – PLEASE READ 🏐🚨

There has been an update to the UNO Summer League schedule.

❗ There are NO Summer League matches tomorrow, Tuesday, July 7.
This was my mistake, and I sincerely apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused your family. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

📅 Important Dates
Week 1: Tuesday, July 14
Week 2: Tuesday, July 21

🚪 Doors Open: 4:00 PM
🏐 Matches Begin: 5:00 PM
⏰ Players MUST arrive by 4:15 PM for warm-ups and team preparation.

📍 UNO Volleyball & Sports Center
570 Joyce Rd.
Joliet, IL 60436

🏐 Joliet Central will play THREE matches on July 14.

📝 Roster & Waiver Forms

Please complete the attached Roster Form.
A waiver form MUST be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian before a player can participate. Players must bring the completed waiver on the first night they attend in order to be eligible to play.

👕 Reminder: Any player who participated on the Freshman, JV, or Varsity team during the 2026 season is eligible to play.

All players MUST wear a Joliet Central Steelmen Boys Volleyball T-shirt while participating.

Congratulations to Logan Novak on being named 1st Team All-Area for the 2026 Boys Volleyball season!

Logan's leadership, dedication, and relentless work ethic helped elevate the Steelmen program to new heights. As our team captain and setter, he consistently led by example while making history as the first player in Joliet Central Boys Volleyball history to surpass both 1,500 and 1,600 career assists.

His impact went far beyond the stat sheet. Logan's commitment to his teammates, his competitive spirit, and his passion for the game have left a lasting legacy on our program.

Your Steelmen family is incredibly proud of everything you've accomplished. This recognition is well deserved!

🏐 Joliet Central Boys Volleyball – UNO Summer League 2026💙💛

🏐 Dates: Tuesday evenings – July 7, July 14, and July 21
🕔 Match Times: 5:00–8:30 PM
⏰ Players should arrive by 4:15 PM (45 minutes before the first match) for warm-ups and team preparation.
📍 Location: UNO Volleyball & Sports Center
570 Joyce Rd, Joliet, IL 60436

🏐 Each team is guaranteed at least two matches each night (some nights may include three matches).
🏆 The team with the highest set and point percentage at the end of July will receive a prize.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Admission is FREE for all spectators.

💙💛 Parents, family members, and friends are highly encouraged to attend! Your support means a great deal to our players, and we'd love to see the Steelmen family filling the stands all summer long.

🍿 Outside food is not permitted, but light concessions will be available.
❄️ Bonus: The facility is air-conditioned!
📅 Match schedules will be released approximately one week before each date.

💙💛 Thank you to all of the players who attended the 2026 Joliet Central Boys Volleyball Summer Camp! 💛💙

Over the past four days, our 6th–12th grade athletes worked hard to improve their volleyball skills while having fun, competing, and building friendships.

Campers focused on the fundamentals of passing, setting, serving, hitting, and serve receive through drills, competitions, and game-like situations designed to help them grow as players.

As you continue through the summer, remember that improvement happens when NO ONE is watching. Keep working on your passing, setting, serving, and ball control at home. The small daily efforts add up to big results.

Thank you to all of the parents and families for supporting your athletes and the Joliet Central Boys Volleyball Program. We appreciate the opportunity to work with these young men and help them grow both on and off the court.

Have a great summer, and we look forward to seeing you back in the gym soon!

Today, the Joliet Central Boys Volleyball Program would like to wish all of our fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures a very Happy Father's Day!

Thank you for the countless rides to practices and matches, the encouragement during tough times, and the unwavering support you provide our student-athletes every day. Your dedication, sacrifice, and love help shape not only better volleyball players, but better young men.

🖤❤️💚 Happy Juneteenth ❤️💚🖤

Today we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the enduring pursuit of equality. On June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, enslaved African Americans in Texas finally learned they were free.

As a program, we celebrate the values of unity, respect, and opportunity for all. We recognize the contributions, achievements, and strength of Black Americans who have helped shape our communities, schools, and the game we love.

May we continue to learn from history, support one another, and work toward a future where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
