🏆 BACK-TO-BACK CHAMPIONS! 🏆

The León Baseball Club has done it again — 2025 & 2026 Southside Spring Classic Champions! 🔥💚💛

León came out locked in on Championship Sunday, defeating the Chicago Rippers in two great matchups, 10-0 and 10-3. Both games were competitive early, but León proved why they’re the team to beat, pulling away and putting on a complete performance on both sides of the ball.

This wasn’t just a championship run — this was a statement.
León finished the tournament with an impressive 7-1 record, showcasing elite pitching, timely hitting, and relentless energy all weekend long.

From top to bottom, this organization continues to set the standard. The chemistry, the passion, and the support from their fan base is second to none.

Pitching Duel Preview ⚾🔥

Joey Bohlmann, who is 2-0 in the Southside Spring Classic 2026, takes the mound in a must-win elimination game against CY Young Award winner Aaron Husson.

Joey has been outstanding this tournament, throwing 13 innings and allowing just 3 runs, showing consistency and control every time out.

On the other side, Aaron Husson has been nothing short of dominant. In 15 innings pitched, he has recorded an incredible 25 strikeouts, including a complete game one-hitter with 17 strikeouts, while allowing only 5 total runs.

This matchup sets up a high-level battle between two locked-in pitchers and two competitive teams. The Chicago Ducks will look to stay disciplined at the plate and capitalize on opportunities, while Michoacan will rely on their momentum and power to break through.
