Drake travels to Northern Iowa to play the Panthers. It's the first time the two schools have played each other since 2013.

UNI Head Coach Todd Stepsis used to coach at Drake and took the Bulldogs to the FCS playoffs. Coach Stepsis will join the show at 6:30 AM to talk about the matchup and the emotions of coaching against his former team.

It is go time! The college football season kicks off this weekend for both Iowa and Iowa State.

The Cyclones will kick off first with a noon kickoff against SEMO. A new era for Cyclone football with head coach Jimmy Rogers and a new roster. Saturday is the 2nd ever meeting with SEMO, Iowa State won back in 2022, 42-10.

Iowa kicks off at 3:15 against Northern Illinois. The Huskies have moved to the Mountain West Conference. The Hawkeyes are heavily favored; the biggest question we are waiting to see answered is who takes the first snap under center: Hank Brown or Jeremy Hecklinski.
