Johnston remain top of the table after a comfortable victory over Llechryd.

Lee Summons starred with both bat and ball, producing an all-round performance. He returned figures of 6-18 as Johnston restricted Llechryd to 139. Gary James and Keegan Codd provided excellent support, taking two wickets apiece.

In reply, Summons finished unbeaten on 77, while Lewis Boswell contributed a valuable 45. Johnston reached their target comfortably in just 26 overs.

Attention now turns to this Saturday, when we travel to Cresselly 2s looking to maintain our strong start to the season 🐅🏏

On Tuesday evening we were knocked out in the first round of the Harrison Allen Bowl after posting 148-6, with valuable contributions from Steven Mills (64) and Lewis Boswell (44).

Burton chased down the target in the 21st over, finishing on 150-4. Gary James and Chris Fitzpatrick were the wicket-takers.

Good luck to Burton for the rest of the competition.

Attention now turns to tomorrow's home fixture against Llechryd, where we'll be looking to maintain our place at the top of Division 2 🐅🏏

Division 2 Cricket Roundup 🏏

Table-topping Johnston remain in 1st place after a six-wicket victory at Haverfordwest on Saturday. Steve Mills was the star, taking 4-8 with the ball before guiding the Tigers home with an unbeaten 59.

Elsewhere in Division 2:

🏏 Pembroke beat Cresselly II by 105 runs – Jack Harries hitting 102
🏏 Hook edged past Llechryd by one wicket in a tense finish
🏏 Fishguard claimed their first win of the season at Tregoes, beating Llangwm by 2 wickets
🏏 Pembroke Dock won a low-scorer at Llanrhian by 10 runs

On Saturday we welcomed Fishguard to Gleblands. Steve Mills set the tone early taking a wicket with the first ball of the game & finished his excellent spell with 6-12 & backed it up with 32* Lewis Boswell in the runs again with an undefeated 42* & Keegan Codd chipped in with 2 wickets.

An all round squad performance in the field restricted Fishguard to 106, which the Tigers knocked off in 22 overs.
