🦅We're back with Round 3 of our Barberitos Athletes of the Week Spotlight!
Reggie Lucy- Reggie delivered a dominant performance on both sides of the ball this week. Offensively, he ran for an impressive 113 yards on just five carries, added a 25-yard punt return, and scored the game’s only touchdown. Defensively, he was a force with 11 tackles, including four tackles for loss, showcasing his relentless effort and physicality. Beyond the stats, Reggie sets the tone for his teammates by holding them accountable and giving his all at practice. His tenacity and leadership make him a cornerstone of our team’s success.
Hayley Meek- Hayle is an 8th-grade captain of our team. She has been a consistent difference maker in key moments due to her versatility. In her 8th-grade night verse, Tennessee Middle, she scored the winning goal to secure the victory for her team. Last week, she scored three goals and two assists to lock up two big wins. Her determination, composure, and leadership qualify her for athlete of the week. She has proven to be not only a reliable scorer but also a player who lifts her teammates and finds ways to impact the game when it matters most.
