Sliding Rock, NC Recovery:

I received a permit to hunt for a ring at Sliding Rock. Was unable to locate it but did recover five other wedding rings. I turned these in at the Ranger/Visitor Center and he logged them into the lost and found book. Hopefully they will make their way back to the owners.

Didn't find the ring that was lost in the river but did find a weapon.

Another great ring recovery this afternoon. Ring came off as he was swimming with his daughter. Thankfully he knew exactly where it came off.

Got a call from a lady. Her husband was working in the yard. His ring fell off and they couldn't find it. When it hit the ground it sunk below the grass. They searched for hours and even borrowed a metal detector. Not knowing how to use it she called me. After a quick search I was able to get this back to its rightful owner.

Recovered a cell phone on Boone Lake today. Dropped off the dock in 20 feet of water.

Had a cell phone recovery at 30’ deep. Zero visibility. Very thankful for a great metal detector. It was a brand new Apple and came on when I picked it up.

Decided to go out metal detecting and landed on a class ring. Was able to get in touch with an old friend of his. He passed away 7 years ago. We found his sister who was overjoyed to have his ring returned to the family.

How It Works: My Pricing

I operate on a reward basis—if I find your item, you decide what it’s worth to you, and I’ll accept it with a grin and a thank-you. To cover gas, there’s a $25 trip charge. For underwater searches with scuba gear, it’s $75 upfront to cover air tanks and equipment. Fair and simple!

Where I Search

Parks: From grassy fields to playgrounds.
Lakes: I can dive up to 200 feet with my waterproof metal detector.
Yards: Backyards, gardens, you name it.

Found a class ring metal detecting at Boone Lake. I was able to track Michael down through the school alumni page. Made contact with him and turns out the ring has been in the ground for 15+ years. He now serves in the military and it’s a privilege to get to return it back to him.
