With WCHS graduation quickly approaching, we want to share some guidelines for those who will be in attendance.
Wayne County High School Graduation Ceremony Guidelines
We are excited to celebrate the achievements of our graduates at the Wayne County High School graduation ceremony on Friday, May 23, at Jaycee Stadium. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, we would like to inform you of the following guidelines:
β’ Clear Bags Only: To help maintain a safe environment for everyone, only clear bags will
be permitted inside the stadium. Please ensure that your bags are transparent and
comply with the size restrictions. Small clutch purses, with or without a handle or strap,
no larger than 4.5β³ x 6.5β³ are permitted. Purses larger than this are not permitted. Diaper
bags and bookbags are not permitted. Guests with prohibited bags will need to return
their bags to their vehicle and transfer their belongings to an approved clear plastic bag
before entering the stadium.
β’ No Drones Allowed: To protect the safety of our graduates and guests and to maintain
secure airspace in and around the venue, drones are strictly prohibited at the event. Any
individuals seen flying drone aircraft in or around the stadium before, during, or after the
ceremony will be asked to leave the premises.
