🏈🔥 NFL FLAG IS BACK AT THE ASHLAND YMCA! 🔥🏈
After having OVER 300 athletes participate last season, we’re excited to continue growing NFL FLAG Football and Little Blitz this fall at the Ashland YMCA! 👀
Our NFL FLAG league is a recreational league focused on creating a fun, competitive, positive, and developmental experience for players of all skill levels.
This year’s NFL FLAG league will feature:

Our goal is to continue creating a great overall experience for families each season while helping players develop skills, build confidence, compete, and create new friendships throughout the season.

🏈 WHAT IS THE COMBINE? 🏈
Players will participate in football-related drills, competitions, and skill stations while coaches evaluate players before teams are formed. The combine is designed to be FUN, exciting, and give players a true NFL FLAG-style experience!
📝 WHAT IS THE COACHES DRAFT? 📝
Following the combine, coaches will participate in a player draft to help create balanced teams throughout the league. As part of this new structure, traditional buddy requests and coach requests will no longer be used.
We understand this is a change from previous years, but our vision is to continue growing the league in a way that creates the best possible recreational experience for all players involved while encouraging competitiveness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and new friendships throughout the season.
🎬 DRAFT NIGHT EXPERIENCE 🎬
Players and families will be invited to our NFL FLAG Draft Night where teams will officially be revealed in a fun kickoff event leading into the season!
🏈 LITTLE BLITZ (AGES 3-5) 🏈
Little Blitz is designed for our youngest athletes looking to learn the basics of football in a fun and energetic environment!
Players will work on:
✅ Snapping
✅ Handoffs
✅ Carrying the football
✅ Flag pulling
✅ Agility & movement
✅ Teamwork & confidence
This program is focused on FUN, development, and introducing kids to the game in a positive recreational environment while preparing them for future NFL FLAG play!
🏟️ ALL games this season will be played at the Ashland YMCA.
