True Grit Families,
I want to take a moment to communicate an important update regarding the upcoming season.
We have had to make some changes within our coaching staff, and after careful consideration, we have decided that True Grit Fastpitch will move forward with 12U and 14U teams for the upcoming season. I sincerely apologize for any miscommunication, confusion, or delay in getting this information out. I know families make plans and decisions based on the information we provide, and I take responsibility for making sure communication moving forward is clear and timely.
More importantly, I want everyone to understand what matters most to me as the Director of this organization.
Our primary focus is creating a safe, healthy, supportive, and positive environment for our players. These girls deserve coaches who care about them, parents who support them, and teammates who build each other up. Winning matters, development matters, competition matters, but none of those things matter more than the environment we create for these kids.
Our morals, values, integrity, and standards will always be at the center of True Grit. I will continue to make decisions based on what I believe is best for the girls and the long-term direction of this organization. This organization is about more than softball. It is about accountability, confidence, character, hard work, respect, and teaching these girls how to be better athletes and better people.
Thank you to the families who have continued to trust True Grit and support what we are building. I know change isnโt always easy, but I truly believe these decisions are necessary to move forward in the right direction.
All Heart. All Hustle. True Grit. ๐ค
