The work starts now. 🏁🔧

Buying the kart was just the beginning. Now the real work begins as we get the #31 race-ready for race season.

Over the coming months, we’ll be tearing it down, cleaning every part, making upgrades, checking safety equipment, and making sure everything is ready to compete. Every late night in the shop brings us one step closer to opening day.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support from our family, friends, cookie customers, donors, and sponsors. Your support has turned Sawyer’s dream into reality, and we’re excited to share every step of this journey with you.

🚨 BIG NEWS FROM SD RACING! 🚨

We are incredibly excited to announce that thanks to the amazing support from our community, generous donations, and every single cookie purchase, Sawyer’s race kart has officially been purchased! 🏁🏎️

This is a huge milestone for SD Racing and a dream that is becoming reality because of all of you. We are so grateful for everyone who has supported Sawyer’s journey so far.

Now the real work begins! 🔧⚙️ We have lots to do to get the kart race-ready for the 2027 season, and we’re excited to share every step of the process along the way.

While purchasing the kart is a huge accomplishment, we’re still actively looking for sponsors and accepting donations to help cover safety equipment, racing gear, parts, maintenance, entry fees, and everything else that comes with a race season.

At just 4 years old, Sawyer is working hard to earn his way onto the track for the 2026-2027 race season. He's been saving his money, helping in the shop, selling cookies through Checkered Flag Confections, and doing everything he can to reach his goal of purchasing his very first race kart.
