What an incredible weekend at the 2026 World Qualifiers held at the Albany Capital Center!

First and foremost, congratulations to all of our Rockland APA players and teams who represented our league with pride, class, and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the event. The competition was tough, but our players showed exactly what Rockland APA is all about.

Congratulations to Happy Hump Day, who completed an unbelievable journey from winning the 2nd Chance Tournament all the way to earning their trip to Las Vegas. What an amazing run and a true testament to perseverance and teamwork!

A huge congratulations to Stick It 2 'Em, who punched their ticket to Vegas with first-time captain William Nicolas at the helm. Leading a team through a World Qualifier is no easy task, and William and his team rose to the occasion when it mattered most.

And congratulations to Lost and Found, who qualified in the Summer and stayed focused and determined all year long before bringing it home this past weekend. Their hard work, dedication, and consistency paid off in a big way as they earned their spot in Las Vegas.

A special congratulations goes out to Nick Roach, Mike Vunk, Tatiana Whalen, Carlos Duque, and Giovanna Napolitano for their outstanding performances in the Empire State Shootout, finishing among the top competitors in a field filled with talented players from across New York State. Great shooting, gentlemen!

To everyone who competed, thank you for representing Rockland APA with professionalism, respect, and sportsmanship. We couldn't be prouder of all of you.

Here are the brackets and match times. An email will be going out to all captains and players with important information. Including the certification form for your team. This form needs to be filled out by each team AND player and returned to me before the start of the tournament.
Rosters will also be included in this email. Please make sure to look over the rosters, there were some players that are INELIGIBLE due to match counts and such.
Remember...
10 matches by the end of the Spring session
4 matches in the Spring session
*20 matches if joining a qualified team

*If you do not have 20 matches, then the team MUST requalify with the new player on the roster.

🎱🏆 Congratulations to Happy Hump Day, led by John Wilson, on becoming the champions of the first-ever Rockland APA 2nd Chance Tournament! 🏆🎱

What an incredible day of pool! Every team and player in the tournament competed at a high level, making for some exciting matches from start to finish. Even more impressive was the outstanding sportsmanship displayed throughout the event. Players supported one another, respected their opponents, and truly represented what the Rockland APA is all about.

A special congratulations goes out to Laura Chavez, who was undoubtedly the team’s MVP. Laura came up huge in just about every match she played, delivering clutch performances when her team needed them most. Her consistency, determination, and ability to perform under pressure were a major factor in Happy Hump Day’s success throughout the tournament. Outstanding job, Laura! 👑

With this victory, Happy Hump Day has earned their spot at the 2026 World Qualifier in Albany, NY, where they’ll continue their journey toward a chance to compete on the biggest stage in APA. Good luck as you take the next step!
