Have you ever noticed that two people can be doing the same pose...and yet their bodies may be telling completely different stories? πŸƒ

One person exhibits ease.
The other struggles.

From the outside, the shape may look the same.
But the body is always communicating.

πŸŒ€ Compensation
πŸŒ€ Instability
πŸŒ€ Habit
πŸŒ€ Postural patterns
πŸŒ€ Prior injury

Yet, most of us don't look beyond the shape or the pose.

But MoveWise teaches you to look at the person. πŸͺ·

To become curious about what is happening beneath the surface.
To notice where movement is flowing freely and where it is being borrowed from somewhere else.
To observe before you prescribe.
To understand before you correct.

This is not only about biomechanics.
It is about learning a different way of paying attention to your students or clients.

Because when you can truly see the body,
πŸͺ· Your teaching changes.
πŸͺ· Your clients feel seen.
πŸͺ· Your interventions become more thoughtful.

And the session becomes less about achieving shapes and more about supporting the person in front of you.

πŸͺ· This is the heart of MoveWise: cultivating embodied intelligence through observation, discernment, and practice.

We begin in just a couple of weeks, at Empowered Spaces in St Louis. If this is calling to you, the time to join is now!

One of the most radical teachings of the Bhagavad Gita is this:

πŸͺ· You are only responsible for your actions.
πŸͺ· You are not responsible for how it turns out (the result).

Imagine how much energy is spent trying to control what cannot be controlled.

Practice invites us to place our attention elsewhere:

πŸƒ On integrity.
πŸƒ On effort.
πŸƒ On presence.
πŸƒ On the next right step.

If this speaks to you, we'd love to have you join Matt's course on the Yoga of the Bhagavad Gita. πŸ¦‰

Practicing alone is hard.
And many people stop...but not because they lose interest.

They stop because they lose connection.
πŸͺ· Connection to their body.
πŸͺ· Connection to their intention.
πŸͺ· Connection to people who understand why practice matters.

Many of us are carrying the same quiet longing:
To be around people who share our values and our aims.
πŸŒ€ Who are asking deeper questions.
πŸŒ€ Who want to live with more awareness.
πŸŒ€ Who are trying, imperfectly, to bring practice into everyday life.

The Practitioner's Circle was born from that longing.
A place to practice together.
Reflect together.
Learn together.
A place where no one has to do it alone.

We're currently gathering our Founding Members. πŸͺ·

Most people encounter the Bhagavad Gita as a sacred text. πŸ“š

But the Gita begins with a crisis.

πŸŒ€ A person standing between what is comfortable and what is necessary.
πŸŒ€ A person overwhelmed by uncertainty.
πŸŒ€ A person asking:

"What am I supposed to do now?"

This is why the Gita remains relevant today.

Not because it offers perfect answers.

But because it speaks directly to the human experience of confusion, responsibility, and transformation. πŸͺ·

If this speaks to you, we'd love to have you join Matt's course on the Yoga of the Bhagavad Gita.πŸ¦‰

Practitioner's Circle is the place I always wanted to belong to.

πŸͺ· A place where practice isn't about achievement.
πŸͺ· A place where no one is trying to become someone else.
πŸͺ· A place where showing up matters more than performing.

Practitioner's Circle is a home for practice, reflection, and community.

Not a class.
Not a course.

A place to return toβ€”again and again.

Founding Membership is limited to 50 people and many spots have already been claimed.

If that speaks to something you've been looking for, join the waitlist through the link in bio.

We often think of "study" as gathering information.

But the yogic tradition understood it differently:
A teaching is valuable only if it changes how you live.

The Bhagavad Gita has been studied for centuries not because it provides answers to every question.

But because it continually returns us to the essential ones.

πŸͺ· What is worth giving my life to?
πŸͺ· How should I act?
πŸͺ· What does freedom look like?
πŸͺ· What does devotion mean?

If these questions speak to you, we'd love to have you join Matt's course on the Yoga of the Bhagavad Gita.

In just a few weeks, we'll gather around cutting boards, spice jars, and simmering pots.

Our Ayurvedic Cooking Retreat begins before the food ever reaches the table.

It starts with washing vegetables. Peeling carrots. Dicing onions. Learning how to organize a workspace so that cooking feels less chaotic and more intuitive.

As ingredients are prepared, we'll talk about taste.

πŸ§„Why some foods feel grounding and others stimulating.
πŸ§„ Why a pinch of one spice can completely change the direction of a dish.
πŸ§„ Why timing matters.

Then the cooking begins. πŸ₯•

Mustard seeds crackle in warm oil. Ginger softens. Aromatics release their fragrance. Vegetables are added one by one. The pot changes with each step.

One of the most interesting parts of the weekend is that we don't wait until the meal is finished to taste.

We taste throughout the process.

πŸ‘… How does the dish change after the spices are added?
πŸ‘… What happens when lemon is introduced at the end?
πŸ‘… What taste is missing? What taste is too strong?

Over time, participants begin to understand flavor differentlyβ€”not as a recipe to follow, but as something they can recognize and work with themselves.

And then, of course, we sit down and enjoy what we've made together.

Good food. Good conversation. A beautiful forest setting. And a deeper understanding of how to bring Ayurveda into everyday life.

The Bhagavad Gita continually returns to a deep, and very personal, question:

Who are we underneath the roles we play?

πŸͺ· Teacher.
πŸͺ· Parent.
πŸͺ· Partner.
πŸͺ· Professional.
πŸͺ· Caretaker.

These roles matter.
But they are not the whole story. πŸ•Š

Practice invites us to discover what remains when identity is no longer built solely from what we do.

This inquiry sits at the heart of Yoga and at the heart of the Bhagavad Gita.

Registration for the Bhagavad Gita course is now open.
