Circle Yoga Shala is giving away ONE ticket to Yoga on the Mountain. 🌄

But there’s a catch:

You can’t nominate yourself.

Instead, nominate someone you’d love to share the YOTM experience with.

💗 A friend who needs a weekend away.
💗 Someone who’s been curious about yoga.
💗 Someone you’ve been practicing alongside for years.
💗 Someone you think would feel at home there.

To enter:

🏔️ Tell us WHO you’d bring in the comments
🤍 Tell us WHY you think they belong at YOTM
🌿 TAG them so they know you nominated them

The winner will be selected Sunday, September 20.

And whether you win or not, we hope you’ll consider this your invitation:
Come to the mountain. And bring someone with you.

🏔️ October 15–18, 2026
📍 Mount Magazine State Park

🎟️ Tickets are on sale now at the link in bio.

Giveaway includes one festival ticket. Lodging is not included.

So, who would you want beside you at YOTM? Tell us in the comments. 👇

Beginners welcome!

What if you could practice as if it was your first yoga class? 🪷

Not trying to recreate the excitement or anxiety of being a beginner, but letting yourself experience each posture without assuming you already know what it will feel like.

Can you sense the shape of the posture again? Notice what’s here now? Meet the practice without relying only on what you can remember?

This was the theme of our very first Practitioner’s Circle practice, and the recording is now available on the platform if you missed the live class.

And if you’re not yet part of the Circle, you’re invited.

Come practice with us.

Join Practitioner’s Circle and make a home for your practice, reflection, and community. 🪷

Details at the link in bio or comment “Circle” and we will DM you.

When you first learn something new, imitation is natural. 🪞

You remember how your teachers explained something. You borrow their language. You teach something that once made sense to you.

This is part of learning.

But teaching Yoga asks you to go deeper than remembering what someone else did.

🪶 Why this movement?
🪶 Why this sequence?
🪶 Why this breath?
🪶 Why this cue?

The more deeply you understand the principles underneath the practice, the less you need to rely on someone else’s script.

So, you can make your own choices.
Adapt when something isn't working.
Experiment without fear of getting it wrong.
You can respond to the people actually in front of you.

And somewhere in that process, your own voice begins to emerge.
When you understand the practice, you can teach it as your unique yourself.

Learn the foundations. Understand the practice. Teach like yourself. 🪷

Practitioner's Circle is a place where we can practice, study, ask questions, share what we’re discovering, and keep returning.

Come as you are. The door is open. 🪶

If you’ve been considering becoming a member, join us. We'd love to get to know you. Go to the link in bio for details or comment "Circle" to get the link sent to your DMs.

The Circle has begun. 🟡

Last night we gathered for our very first Practitioner’s Circle satsang, and it was a full house.

Founding members came together from different places, different backgrounds, and from different paths of practice.

And it was wonderful. 🪷

There was conversation.
There was genuine joy of reconnecting.
And we also welcomed new faces!

If you’re interested in joining us, you haven’t missed the beginning.

Go to the link in bio to learn more, or comment Circle and we will DM you the link.

On Sunday, the Practitioner’s Circle gathers for the first time. 🪷

Over the past few days, people have been entering the community, introducing themselves, and beginning to put faces and stories to names.

On Sunday, we get to sit together for the first time.

Our first satsang (gathering) begins with Beginner’s Mind: a fitting place to start a community built around practice rather than achievement.

35 of the 50 Founding Memberships have now been claimed.

If you’ve been considering joining us, Founding Membership remains open until all 50 places are filled or until our first satsang begins Sunday at 7 PM Central, whichever comes first.

Founding Membership gets you two complimentary months, followed by the Founding Member rate of $34/month for as long as your membership remains continuously active.

Come begin with us. 🪶

What makes a good teacher? 🪷

Knowledge and experience matter, of course.
But there’s another quality that can be harder to put your finger on.

A good teacher doesn’t make the practice about themselves. 🌀

They bring what they know, and they also pay attention to the person in front of them.

They don’t need you to move like they move, understand something exactly as they understand it, or have the same experience they’ve had.

They teach.
They observe.
They listen.
And they adjust.

The longer we teach, the more we realize that experience doesn’t give us all the answers. But it can make us better at noticing what’s actually needed.

And that’s one of the most significant practices of teaching (Yoga):

Knowing what you know, while staying curious about what you don’t. 🪶

At some point, practice may ask something more of us.

Not just, 'What can I do'? 🪶
But also, 'What can I carry forward'?🍃

Circle Yoga Shala’s teacher trainings are built around that question.

Our Foundational 200-Hour YTT builds the foundation: asana, biomechanics, breath, meditation, philosophy, sequencing, teaching skills, and the confidence to begin.

Our Advanced 300-Hour YTT is for teachers ready to go substantially deeper into therapeutics, Ayurveda, advanced movement, philosophy, personalization, and the kind of embodied presence that cannot be learned from a script.

Both in-person trainings are coming to Eastern Livity in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

🪷 Foundational 200hr YTT begins November 12, 2026
🪶 Advanced 300hr begins April 8, 2027

Whether you're preparing to take the teacher's seat for the first time or are ready to reconsider what that seat asks of you, we have a place for you.

Get all the info at the link in our bio or from the Eastern Livity site.
