Last home game is in the books and it ended up being a 12-2 win against Granger! It was also Mom’s night, the boys wore shirts with their mom’s name on the back and gave them a rose before the game started…for most of them this was their last game before moving on to high school baseball. The future is bright and thank you mom’s for everything you’ve done to make this possible. Now…things did get kind of emotional as we have one of our boys in the hospital, his mom came to watch the game so she could get some pictures and videos for Liam. The boys signed her mom shirt and gave her her rose in between innings…I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. We are family and it just goes to show what these young men have grown in to. One more game and then district tournament time! GO COUGARS!!!! ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️

We finally got to play some baseball last night!!! The boys delivered another lights out performance beating Holland 8-0. Joni Gutierrez shined on the mound pitching a 4 inning no hitter. We will be back in action Thursday night at 7:00 in Jarrell…if you haven’t been able to come watch these young men make plans to come out Thursday!!! GO COUGARS!!! ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️

Well we faced some adversity last night and we ended up taking Thorndale to extra innings last night with only 8 players and came up short losing 6-5. I’m still super proud of these boys given the fact the that they had to play positions they weren’t familiar with. They never gave up and fought until the end. We will bounce back and get back on track!!!! Tuesday night in Granger will be go time! Stay tuned for playoff info!

Big Big win for the boys last night beating Florence purple 13-1!!!! There’s only one undefeated team left and our boys! Joni pitched lights out and Christian became the newest member of the bomb squad sending one out of the park. We play in Thorndale Monday night and these boys are on 🔥! Let’s go!!!!
