Saturday night recap. Dad pulled a 20, Kayla pulled a 22. Dad started 4th in heat one and moved back to 7th, but did well in a stacked field. Kayla started 4th in heat two, worked her way to 2nd and stayed there for a few laps until a Delaware restart. This would move her to a 3rd place finish. The first taste of a close win the purple 27 has had in its career, its best run and its best finish. Couldn’t have been much happier with this heat.

Kayla would start 5th in the feature and stay mid pack until a hard hit from the rear in turn one and two sent her sideways, immediately followed by a hard hit to the driver rear by a different fellow competitor with no time to slow down. This took us out of the feature with how much damage was sustained from the second hit and the purple 27 was towed off the track. Dad would immediately pull off afterward taking him out of the feature as well.

The damage was devastating to such a good evening, but could’ve been worse. The parts we damaged are replaceable, woke up quite sore today but totally okay otherwise and we’re grateful for that. Odds are in that Kayla will be wheeling the black 27 next week just to maintain points until we get the purple one back together.

Not the night we wanted after just getting the car dialed into its best spot, but it’ll be back in no time. Best and worst night we’ve had all in one. Thank you to our sponsors once again, couldn’t do it without y’all. Here’s to better nights ahead.

Saturday/Autograph night recap! Firstly I would like to say thank you to every single fan who came up to us during autographs. It is an honor to be looked up to by so many people who love us and not one we take lightly. We are so grateful for all of the love and support you guys show us, it’s one of the many things that keep our fighting spirit going. So again I say, thank you. Thank you for signing the car, for the kind words, the endless support, to the fans who come back year after year and remind us they are there, to the people who bring their littles with big dreams to meet their idols, just THANK YOU to our fans! 🫶🏻💜🖤🩷 I’ve signed people, money, clothes, shoes, hats, bags, flags, rubber ducks, I’m sure there is more I am forgetting lol. Thanks for making us feel famous for the evening alongside making us feel truly encouraged!

Onto race stats 🫡

Dad was pulled a 16 and Kayla was pulled a 31. This would put us in the second heat with Dad starting 3rd, Kayla starting 6th. Kayla maintained her position finishing 6th, while dad would fall to last after some difficulties with how the car was running.

Some changes were made to the purple 27 as it was way too loose in the heat.

Kayla would start 12th and fight through the whole feature to move up one place and maintain it finishing 11th. The car felt a little better, still not quite where we want to be. Dad would start last at 16th and pull off after one lap due to issues running once again. (This was resolved after the races and the black 27 is ready to rumble again)

After last week and this weeks results, Kayla is super happy to share she is currently 7th in points at Stateline Speedway in the mini stock division! 🥳

Come out to Stateline Speedway and get your favorite drivers autograph! We will be handing out pictures to sign and candy! Look for the 27s and then be sure to catch our legendary drivers walking around the grandstands!! ☺️

We’ve moved the Legends of Stateline autograph session to start halfway through the on track session and it will run for 30 minutes after on track concludes.

Recap for Saturday night at Stateline Speedway!

Dad would pull pill for both of us pulling Kayla a 2 😅 and putting her on the pole of heat 1!! He would put himself in 5th position of the second heat. The purple 27 driven by Kayla would move back to 4th for 5 laps of the heat before finally settling into 5th position, good enough to put us into the qualifying without running the b main! Dad would fall behind two positions finishing 7th in his heat forcing him to run the b qualifying.

He would start 6th before moving up one position and one car DNS making him 4th, qualifying him for the feature!

The purple 27 would start 17th in the main feature, the black 27 starting dead last. Kayla managed to wheel her 27 up 5 positions before finishing 12th against a strong group of cars and drivers from all over local regions. Dads 27 would only finish a lap before exiting the track due to temp issues.

“For this being the first race of the year and first time in the car in 2026, getting to run 26 laps was so much fun. Competing with some cars that have lapped me in my old cars, competing bumper to bumper against drivers who have taken championship titles.
