I know we haven’t posted much updates but we’ve been getting our cars ready and doing some testing. Can’t wait to see what the season will bring.

Enjoyed a great day of racing with friends at Huntsville Dragway. Got Short Circuit out and went a few rounds. Thank you Tony Morris for another excellent TMC Twin Blade 1400 carburetor.

Well it’s time to give an update on our racing team. Back in February we bought RJ Howe a GTO “ Point Break”. He’s made great strides with the car. This is perfect for his bracket racing. Keep striving forward.

I’ve had a fun couple days at the Frank Hawley drag racing school in Gainesville, FL. After the first day I was 1 of 4 out of 16 that was able to make their first full pass. Then came in today and finished up with my last two passes for a total of 6 passes for my NHRA competition license. My best pass was 9.240 @ 146.56 mph in the 1/4 mile which is 5.893 @ 117.01 in the 1/8 mile. I want to thank not only my husband but my best friend and rock Doug Howe for being there beside me and encouraging me. Can’t wait for “Lil Spark” to get done so I can start making pass in it.

There is some new and exciting things going on with Short Circuit Racing this year. We have Candace starting her racing this year in a 1980 all chrome Moly 6.0 very strut front end Monza called “Lil Spark”. We can’t wait to see what she does. More updates with Short Circuit Racing to come this year.
