Close Game Between Aces 11U And AP Baseball 11U Ends In Tie

Aces 11U and AP Baseball 11U tied 6-6 on Saturday.
A solo home run to left field by Joe E put AP Baseball 11U on the board in the bottom of the first.
A ground out by Mason T gave Aces 11U the lead, 2-1, in the top of the second.
An error gave AP Baseball 11U the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the second.
Aces 11U captured the lead, 6-3, in the top of the third when Dominic G grounded out, scoring one run, Kolton D doubled, scoring one run, and Matthew D homered to center field, scoring two runs.
AP Baseball 11U tied the game in the bottom of the third thanks to a double by Dylan Y, a walk by Gunner B, and a walk by Tré B.
Mason led things off on the bump for Aces 11U. The starting pitcher gave up three hits and five runs (two earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking one. Remi L started on the hill for AP Baseball 11U. The righty surrendered six hits and six runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking two.
Matthew went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Corbin F went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Aces 11U in hits. Corbin, Gunnar S, and Wyatt W each stole multiple bases for Aces 11U. Aces 11U stole seven bases in the game. Aces 11U turned one double play in the game.
Eli H led AP Baseball 11U with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. Joe, Tré, and Dylan each collected one hit for AP Baseball 11U. Reece B, Gavin C, Tré, and Dylan each stole multiple bases for AP Baseball 11U. AP Baseball 11U ran wild on the base paths, collecting nine stolen bases for the game.
