Jayla's Smile Inc (JSI) was created by 8 year old, Jayla of Jacksonville, FL after Jayla was diagnosed with Lupus in May 2010. Lupus is rare in young children, therefore, Jayla decided to create an organization that would not only support those with Lupus and raise awareness of the disease. JSI is also dedicated to kids just like herself. An organization that will allow the kids to interact with other kids who have been diagnosed with a rare illness. The Jayla's Smile team is making a difference in the lives of men, women, and children starting right here in Jacksonville, FL. Thanks to the donations of supporters like you, JSI has successfully hosted annual Walks for Lupus, back to school drives, promoted Lupus awareness in the community, visited children's hospitals providing encouragement to patients and survivors of this illness. How can you help? First, spread the word about www.jaylassmile.org and our mission. Next, contact us! We want to know your stories and I'm sure other kids do too! Finally, be apart of the JSI team. You can do so by promoting JSI in your city, Jayla's Smile wristbands are currently selling at $1 each. This is an introductory rate and it won't last long! Jayla's Smile is a not for profit organization. All donations will go to the costs of running any events supported by Jayla's Smile. Donations will also go to the Community Health Charities - Lupus Foundation in hopes of a cure.
