Centrally located off Southside Boulevard just south of JTB, Deerwood is a 15-20 minute drive from anywhere in the area โ making it among the most accessible clubs in Jacksonville. While Deerwood is located in a gated residential community, memberships are not restricted to Deerwood residents. Deerwood County Club is a member owed equity club which began in 1960 as North Florida's first gated golf
course community and Club. Steeped in tradition, the Club is extremely proud of its history which includes hosting the TPC and famed golfers, tennis pros and even President Ford! Mindful of this past, our members enjoy friendly southern hospitality and traditions in each amenity as well as our extensive member programing. Currently Deerwood Country Clubโs multi-million-dollar beautification and renovation project has reached the halfway mark. This significant milestone underscores the club's commitment to providing an elevated experience for its members, their families, and their guests. Members enjoy a full social calendar of events, several dining options, and a stocked wine menu to explore. The course is a Championship par 72 course with 6 sets of tees for different skill levels, a complete practice range with two putting greens, practice bunkers and chipping greens. The Fitness Center has a separate weight, cardio & classroom with a full schedule of classes. Personal training and massage therapy services are onsite as well. For the water lovers we have you covered with a junior Olympic-size pool, splash pool, spa & steam/sauna rooms. DCC also has its own swim team, the Torpedoes, with coaches for swim and or stroke lessons. DCC Kids Club provides childcare and camps for our children as well.
