Well, that’s it for this years track season. A lot of struggling, missed opportunities and delays but I’m glad I was able to achieve something. Looking forward to coming back nexy year better than before. I plan to keep training and am considering running cross country in the fall. Just got home after a 300m workout. This most likely will be the last workout of the season before Jacksonville Athletic Club’s final meet on Friday the JAC Summer Closer. What a scene to end the day. That’s not the sun ☀️, it’s actually the moon 🌕 ☺️

So the meet for today is done and here is the vid. Still kinda upset that I had to scratch from the 400m Run because my shoes literally fell apart. No worries, I got one more shot to do this on Friday before the season is over. See you there 🙂

Seriously?! Right before my 400m race this happens. Shoes came right apart, WTF?!😳 😡😔

Finally back on the track since the last meet. 3 x 300m workout today. 1200m, 4 x 100m, 600m at 2:12.66 pace warm up with first 300m run clocked in at 47.90. Working on it….and I clearly need a new stop watch again 😳🏃🏾‍♂️👍🏽❤️

Well, I tried. The meet wasn't bad, just very hot and exhausting. Plan to be at the next one the 25th. Hopefully I can do better, I enjoyed being here at Providence High School Athletics Field 🙂
