As many of you have already heard……An American icon of martial arts and cinema has died. GM Chuck Norris, legendary martial arts champion, action movie star and founder of Chun K*k Do. Who was made a member of the World Head of Family/ Sokeship Council by our representative, GM Gary Wasniewski of England in February of 2025. Passed away from a medical emergency on March 19th in Hawaii at the age of 86.

His gentlemanly manner, philanthropism to good causes and legendary exploits in both martial arts and cinema will be remembered by all. He was a giant among men.

Our love and condolences go out to his wife, Gena and family.

CONGRATULATIONS to my brother, Sifu Alan Goldberg on the successful 25th anniversary of his Action Martial Arts Mega Weekend. Proving without a doubt, that He is one of the greatest martial arts promoters of our time!

Another icon of the World Head of Family/ Sokeship Council passed away today..... Brought into the Council by our late member, GM Juerg Ziegler of Switzerland. Dojunim Ji Han Jae was a direct student of Hapkido's founder, Choi Yong-So. Jae also founded his own Art of Sin Moo Hapkido in 1983 in Seoul, South Korea. A modernized and highly effective system of Hapkido practiced by thousands of exponents worldwide.

His death leaves a large hole in our martial arts universe.

Our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and students.

May his soul fly high with God's angels.

An American icon has passed. Good friend, American patriot & historical JuJitsu pioneer, Professor Ernie Cates. Founder of Neko Ryu Goshin Jitsu died earlier today in his sleep.

One of America's early pioneers in JuJitsu, Professor Cates was an amazing technician well known for his work in Kazushi. He was also a much loved & respected member of the World Head of Family/ Sokeship Council (shown in blue gi top doing a take down at an earlier WHFSC event).

Our condolences to his immediate family, to his talented students & to his friends worldwide. You were a man among men, Professor & you will be sorely missed. Fly high with God's angels!
