Come join us for the Flipper's Diving "Meat Wagon" Spearfishing Expedition!

Only 6 spots available aboard the R/V Explorer with Nautical Divers.

We will be headed offshore Jacksonville to some elite top secret spearfishing and lobster spots. We will target large species reef fish and spiney lobsters.

All divers have the option of tossing $20 cash into the pot, winner takes all for biggest fish of the day!

$325 per diver

3 tank charter (tanks/equipment not included)
Full day trip
Limited to 6 spots + Crew

Led by Matt Myers Owner of Flipper's Diving with 20+ years commercial spearfishing experience.

Requirements:
Advanced Open Water Certified
Nitrox Certification
DAN insurance
30 logged dives, 10 boat dives (outside of your training)
Must have current Florida saltwater fishing license with lobster endorsement

Another incredible day on the water with the Force Blue Team making a real impact on our local wrecks and reefs!

Today alone, the team removed 495 pounds of marine debris, bringing our total to an impressive 1,184 pounds recovered over the first four dive days.

Every piece of debris removed helps protect marine life, preserve our artificial reefs, and keep these incredible dive sites healthy for future generations.
A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of this mission. Together, we’re proving that divers can make a lasting difference. One more day to go!

-Learn proper use of spearguns, pole spears, and lionfish hunting equipment
-Discover effective spearfishing tactics tailored to North Florida waters

Day 2 – Friday, August 21st (Full Day)
Offshore Spearfishing Expedition
Board the R/V Explorer for a full-day guided dive experience:
-3-tank dive charter with Nautical Divers
-Limited to 6 divers + crew for a personalized experience
-Dive sites carefully selected, high-action spearfishing locations
-Receive in-water and onboard coaching from Matt Myers

Participant Requirements
To ensure safety and quality of experience, participants must have:
Advanced Open Water Certification
Nitrox Certification
DAN Diving Insurance
Valid Florida saltwater fishing license
Minimum of 30 total logged dives, 10 boat dives

No prior spearfishing experience required

$425 Per Diver
*tanks, weights, diving or spearing equipment not included.

The July 3rd "Freedom Slayers Throwdown" was an epic success! Of course, Nautical Divers delivered as always, putting us on the fish... every... single... dive. We loaded the coolers with mangrove snapper, grouper, sheepshead, lionfish and did we mention lionfish?? Looking forward to the next adventure!
