There is a reason why I adjusted my training age limit. A certain level of focus, effort, and mental capacity is a must. Unfortunately not many can bring it to the training ground.

There are always exceptions of course. Here is a 7 year old MJ who understands the importance of the following:

• Agility — Footwork
• Verbal AND non-verbal communication
• Being ambidextrous, and
• Being responsible for your own effort

These are some of the reasons that would make it worth it for a coach to pour his energy on to you. If not, don’t bother. Stay home.
