Happy late (8/31) birthday to our Senior player Shayla!

We did not forget (I’ve had it on my calendar ready to post and then the first day of school happened), we were actually waiting for Shayla to track us down and ask why we forgot about her.

Shayla has been a blast to coach and get to know as a student athlete these past two seasons and we are looking forward to her senior season. She is going to be huge loss for our program when she graduates next spring but we are looking forward to seeing where her future takes her!

Happy Birthday to our junior player Shianne!

If Shianne is around there will be a lot of laughing either with her or at her depending if her and Perla are taking each other out.

The growth Shianne has had as a player the past few years has been great to see. She is a player who you can place anywhere on the court and she will adapt and do her job. We look forward to watching her growth this next season and all of the laughs we know we will have! 🏀🏀

Happy Birthday Head Coach Fernando!

He doesn’t want us sharing how many years he is celebrating but there is no hiding those grey hairs that we all know the girls are adding to!

He has worked hard the past two seasons building our program up and we are looking forward to many more seasons and finding new growth and success each year! 🏀

We had a great time at the EWU Women’s Basketball Camp! 🏀

Due to some injuries and only having 6 girls with us we were not able to play in our last game today. However, these 6 girls really showed up this week and played some of the best basketball that I have seen from them yet. I’m glad they showed up and put in the work and we are looking forward to this next season!

Summer league isn’t over yet though, we are back in the gym tomorrow in Hermiston at 5 and 6 and then hosting games in Irrigon on Friday at 4pm.
