What a performance by Brody Parrish at the OSAA State Track & Field Championships! Competing on one of the sport’s most iconic stages, Brody earned 2nd place in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 15.87 seconds.

The entire Irrigon Knights track family is incredibly proud of Brody’s hard work, determination, and outstanding achievement.

Congratulations, Brody, on an amazing accomplishment! We’re excited to celebrate this success and a strong finish to the 2026 season.

2A Special District 4 Championships
Saturday, May 23, 2026
Athena, Oregon

The 2A Special District 4 Championships on Saturday, May 23rd brought perfect weather and fierce competition as our Irrigon Knights battled against some of the best athletes in the district. From the first event to the final race, our athletes left everything out on the track and field. While the day came with a few heartbreaks, it was also filled with personal records, hard-fought performances, and several trips to the podium.

A huge congratulations goes out to Jennifer Armenta for earning 4th place in the Triple Jump in her very first season competing in the event. Another outstanding performance came from Brody Parrish, who qualified for the OSAA State Championships in two events with a 3rd place finish in Long Jump and a district championship victory in the 110m Hurdles.

Now it’s on to Track Town USA as the Knights head to historic Hayward Field for the OSAA State Track & Field Championships.

Grant Union Invitational

In their final meet before district competition, our Irrigon Knights traveled to scenic John Day to compete in the Grant Union Invitational. The weather was absolutely perfect, and the relaxed atmosphere made for a great opportunity to fine tune events and build confidence heading into one of the most important weeks of the season.

The Knights continued to show steady improvement across the board with more personal bests, strong finishes, and competitive performances throughout the day. Athletes supported one another from start to finish, and the positive team energy was evident all meet long.

The highlight of the day came on the track in the 110 Meter Hurdles, where Brody Parish broke a school record he had been chasing for three years with an incredible performance. It was an exciting moment for the entire team and the perfect way to close out the regular season before district competition begins.
