Don’t let your talented youngsters get complacent! We see it all too often.

It’s a great recipe when early talent meets with hard work. We should be focusing on development always, no matter how talented the kid is at an early age.

Development isn’t always about running faster, jumping higher, throwing further, shooting deeper, hitting harder, etc.

Important pieces that can be developed daily:

- Attitude
- Effort
- Being a quality teammate
- Communication
- Playing selfless
- Activity-specific IQ
