Today we held our annual Spread the Word Campaign. Students stopped by during lunch to pledge how they practice inclusion or plan to practice inclusion. We had some amazing conversations with students and staff about inclusion! Our cafeteria workers even came over after the cafeteria cleared out to sign our banner and fill out a pledge sheet. 💙💛

Iola athletes participated in Special Olympics Track Meet today in PIttsburg. Our athletes did a phenomenal job competing today as they all are taking home a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal. Way to go Mustangs! 🤩🏅

Due to the forecast of severe weather conditions in our area, we regret to inform you that the Special Olympics Basketball and Cheer event scheduled for tomorrow, February 12th, has been canceled. 🏀

The safety and well-being of our athletes, staff, volunteers, and families is our top priority, and we believe this is the best decision given the expected impact on transportation and school logistics.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your understanding. Coaches and Volunteers have been emailed. Coaches, if you have scores from individual skills and 5v5 basketball or cheer, please send them to your Regional Director, Olivia Ryan at [email protected] —we would love to provide medals! 🎖️

Our athletes participated in the Southeast Regional Youth Bowling Tournament Thursday November 21st in Pittsburg.
They all did an outstanding job to say the least as they all took home a medal piece to hang on their success wall! Way to go Mustangs! 💙💛
