The North Stars are governed by a management team that oversees administration, communications, marketing, game management and fundraising. Their league will include the Bemidji Blue Ox, Hibbing Miners, Roseau Royals and Warroad Muskies. It is comprised of 5 teams from the Red River League and 3 teams from the Northwest Border League. The tournament for 2024 will be hosted by the Hibbing Miners at the Al Nyberg Stadium in Hibbing. RAINY LAKE NORTH STARS ADVANCE TO NORTH BORDER CONFERENCE PLAYOFF

The Rainy Lake North Stars are scheduled for a showdown with the Warroad Muskies in a North Border Conference tournament playoff game scheduled for Sunday, July 27th, 7pm, at the Tony Stukel Field in Warroad.

The winner of this game advances to the Region 4C tournament in Detroit Lakes August 2nd & 3rd.

The North Stars played a grueling schedule this summer versus top Class B and C teams, and yet continued to improve and compete.

The North Stars finished with a 3-9 overall record, but feel very confident about their chances Sunday.

This Sunday’s playoff game will feature for the first time this season, the North Stars with a nearly complete lineup, which will add needed firepower to bolster an already improving lineup.
