What better way to celebrate a birthday than with a home run?

Cooper came up big for SBA Nationals today, launching a 2-run homer to center field and driving in 4 runs in a hard-fought semifinal matchup. He also delivered on the mound earlier in the day, tossing 2 scoreless innings to help secure a walk-off victory.

A birthday home run, clutch pitching, and a huge day for the team—one he’ll remember for a long time.

What a way to wrap up the Spring season! ⚾️

These boys left it all on the field today, coming up just short of a trip to the championship game. A walk-off win in Game 1 and an incredible comeback effort in Game 2 showed the heart, grit, and fight this team has played with all season.

💥 Home Run Highlights:
• Conor launched a solo shot first pitch in Game 1
• Cooper crushed a 2-run homer in Game 2

🎉 And an extra special shoutout to Cooper, who celebrated his birthday by pitching two scoreless innings in Game 1 and then hitting a birthday home run in Game 2!

Other big performances:
🔥 Mason went 3-for-3 with 3 RBIs in Game 1
🔥 Jacob was a perfect 3-for-3 in Game 2
🔥 Cooper drove in 4 runs in Game 2
🔥 Jesse collected multiple hits on the day and 3 RBIs
🔥 27 total hits across the two games

The boys came ready to play, picking up two big wins in the PG Summer State Championship!

The bats stayed hot all day, combining for 31 runs, 20+ hits, aggressive baserunning, and strong pitching performances by Eli, Danny and Jacob. Great team effort from top to bottom with contributions throughout the lineup.

Offensive Highlights:
• Daeven: 5 hits, including a double and triple, 4 RBI
• Mason: 3 hits, 3 RBI
• Jacob: 3 hits, 3 RBI
• Austin: 2 hits, 2 RBI
• Danny: 2 hits, RBI
• Cooper: 2 hits, 2 RBI
• Carl: 5 RBI on the day
• Jesse: Double, 2 RBI
• Conor: Hit, RBI, and multiple stolen bases

Long day at the ball field after getting rained out yesterday and squeezing both pool and bracket play into one day. Tough first game, but the boys bounced back in game two with an exciting 16-15 walk-off win against Legacy Baseball Red.

We jumped out to an early lead in game two after Jacob H tripled to center field, Cooper doubled to left field, Adrien S singled to center field, and Leroy H added an RBI fly out in the first inning. After plenty of momentum swings throughout the game, Cooper came through in the bottom of the fifth with a walk-off single scoring three runs to secure the win.

Not the cleanest day of baseball, but this team showed resilience, battled through adversity, and never quit. On to the next tournament weekend ⚾

SBA 11U Nationals finished as tournament finalists this weekend, powered by 4 home runs in two days 💥

⚾ Cooper K launched a 3-run homer in Game 1
⚾ Beckett Z crushed two home runs in Game 2
⚾ Jesse H delivered a clutch 3-run blast in the comeback effort

💥Huge shoutout to MVP Pitcher John Wesley for an incredible championship performance — 5 innings of relief, 12 Ks, and 0 runs allowed.

And most importantly — thank you to all the moms who spend countless weekends cheering, traveling, supporting, and doing it all for these players. 💐❤️
