The word DOMINATE could often illicit emotions of negativity. Just the thought of dominating can make you feel unkind. It's actually one of the kindest mindsets you can have!
I want YOU to DOMINATE. In fact, if you are going to be the best spouse, parent, boss, employee, person you can be, you must have the mindset of DOMINATE!
Here is what I mean. How many times have you known what to do ie. put down your fork, get up early to exercise, be more patient or loving towards others etc. etc., but you allowed your emotions to control your actions? We all have right? Then comes the guilt and regret.
How would your life change if you dominated your emotions and did not let the negative ones control your actions any longer?
Here are two habits I do every day to dominate in my own mind.
Before my day starts, I asked myself, "What is something that might stress me out or trip me up today and how would my best self handle it?" I journal my answer and now my mind is prepared to dominate.
I set alarms on my phone that create positive triggers and reminders of how I want my mindset to be. Now I'm in control and not my emotions.
That's why DOMINATE is one of the kindest mindsets you can have. Build these habits into your life and see the difference this mindset of "dominate" makes in the quality of your interactions and reactions.
