Purchase Night:
Coming home late from some action in Mexico with my Max Effort C6Z. 2 miles from my house is a gas station and I see this Slammed Caprice PPV staged up by the air pump. I pull in and greet the owner with "I'm gonna buy this car". He replied "It's not for sale". "Lets worry about that later" I reply.
He tells me all about the build and I say "Bro, I live 2 miles down the street and I have $15K cash waiting for you". He says "no way". I then ask to at least take down my number and give me a shout if he changes his mind. We part ways and I head home.
As i'm sliding into bed, after midnight I mind you. I receive a text from Caprice owner asking "are you serious about that offer"? Without hesitation I tell him absolutely! Next thing I know he has his parents following him back over to my house to get the deal done. Reminder, after midnight lol.
At the time now a proud owner of this Sick Chevrolet Caprice PPV. The wheels start spinning on ideas. Without knowing I would later call it Freedom Force PPV I knew some sort of Cop Car design was in its future!
This is just chapter 1 of a fun tale about my ownership journey of this Hot Rod. Stay tuned for more and the moral of this particular story.....Take action, see something you want? Put it out there and take the risk. Situations like this are also such an "in the moment" deal. Hesitation will cost you the deal. No matter the time or day, if it is something your after. Follow through without delay!
