Happy birthday to our shortstop/2nd Baseman Juan "Nico" Rivera . From Tball at 4 years old to Travel baseball at 12 years old.. this player loving the game of baseball started something amazing when his dad starting coaching for him. Just playing recreational ball and loving it so much led him to create a baseball family that is like no other. The bond between our players, coaches and parents compares to none. Both OG and New! Nico, we wish you the best today, tomorrow and always! #1 🌪⚾️

As we honor the 22 year rememberance of September 11th, 2001, we have to also remember to respect how Americans came together in a time that tried to leave us on our knees. We didn't falter. We stood tall, together. That unity far outweighs in importance our disagreements or differences that may otherwise separate us.

So to honor those we lost, let's help out a family member, friend and/or a stranger with an act of kindness. Any good deed, big or small can have a tremendous impact.

As we move on to 13U and prepare our 7th grade players for Middle School ball, we had to part ways with our younger players and they are now and forever a part of the OG Cyclones. We are happy to say that these players have made teams in surrounding areas and we wish them all the best of luck in their fall season and beyond. We aren't saying goodbye, but see you all soon! Thank you to these players and their parents for their dedication to the Hyde Park Cyclones for the past 3 years.

Today we remember Big Mike. One of our biggest supporters and the amazing father of one of our OG Cyclones, Michael Reed. Today marks a year since we lost you && your presence, your strong voice and your big heart are missed dearly. We will always have Lisa, Nicolina & Mikey's back no matter what. May you continue to rest in peace big Mike 🙏
