Apparently, the girls were literally just a girl… and then proceeded to show out. 😤🔥

What a weekend for Alpha Academy 9U!

These numbers don’t happen by accident. Work, confidence, toughness, and a whole lot of . 💪🩵

Proud of every single one of these girls and the way they continue to compete, develop, and get better every weekend.

One of the best things for young softball/baseball athletes is one of the most overlooked because of its simplicity. The game of catch is simple but it translates, period!

Here we have Adyson Minner (2035) to Anna Workman (2036) to Adalynn Goble (2036).

NSA “Im literally just a girl…” is in the books. This weekend we went 2-2, once again losing to big sister in the semifinals.

We have some improvements to make in the box but we are growing and learning. Once the bats get clicking this crew will be dangerous.

We are off this coming weekend and will be in the lab working. See you in a few weeks!

Last night we finally were able to recognize some standout performances from our first two tournaments of the Fall.

🔥 TURF WARS

⭐ Overall Rockstar — Brinley
Dominated behind the plate and showed off the work she has been doing outside the fence to start framing pitches. Her bat was hot and she lived on the bases, going 2/4 + 4 BB

💥 Highlight Hitter — Anna provided some spark early in the batting order and led the team in hits for the weekend with a big time triple in a big time situation. 3 H + 1.27 OPS

🍌 No Slipping Top Banana — Adyson was dominate in the circle. If you walked by our field and saw her pitching you’d never of guessed she was a 9u player in her first full season of player pitch. 6.2 IP | 5 H | 15 K 🔥

💙 USSSA MID FALL CLASSIC

⭐ Overall Rockstar — Adalynn walks around with a magnet in her glove on defense. Her lockdown defense combined with her aggressive bat at the plate stood out this weekend. 4/7 | 9 Defensive Put Outs

💥 Highlight Hitter — Brinley showed her experience seeing player pitch. She didn’t just drop in base hits but was driving the ball. She went 4/7 | 2 XBH | 4 RBI

🍌 No Slipping Top Banana — Rylee continue to develop in the circle and showed off her velocity in the circle. It was evident that this wasn’t her first time toeing the rubber. She went 5.2 IP | 6 K

Proud of the way these girls continue to compete, develop, and get better every time they step between the lines.

The work is starting to show.

Two weekends.
A lot of reps.
A lot of learning.
And some numbers worth recognizing.

📊 TEAM STAT LEADERS

The goal isn’t to chase numbers.
The goal is to keep getting better.

The girls played in the USSSA WV Mid Fall Classic yesterday and finished the day 1-1-1. We started the day going 1-0-1 in pool play and gained the 3 seed. Bracket play we drew a solid Tribe team who got the best of us.

All in all, the girls went out and showed why they are playing exclusively 10u tournaments this Fall. We continue to see teams top pitchers and we continue to battle. Proud of these girls is an understatement.

We are back in action next weekend for the NSA “I’m literally just a girl…” tournament in Nitro, WV.
