It was an emotional weekend. Lil bro came in clutch for the COMX Championship win! Trophy was just about as big as him. Landed 4th in his stacyc race! We are so proud of how far this kid has come !! From not even being able to finish one lap to finishing a whole race! Keep on going kiddo!

Big bro tried with all his might in his 50 beginner class. The first moto, he came in 6th out 11. He was a completely new kid. We were so stinking proud of him. He put so much effort in and it really paid off. The second moto his freaking bike shut off right at the start gate 😞 He caught up to some riders but his bike turned off. Again. So disappointing for him. My mama heart broke for him- he finally pushed himself and the bike gave out 😕 BUT I think we’re headed in the right direction!

Back to the mechanics garage so dad can work on it. Ross Wriker is the best! Rhett said he wants to try again next week at a different race if we can get the bike fixed. Pressure is on 😂

Rhett got overall 8th out of 11 on 50 beginner (6th and 9th in his motos)
Overall 4th in ebike mini- (3rd and 4th in his motos)

Super proud of him, kinda mad at his bike, but that’s how motocross goes ! This was the last race of the series we followed this year, will keep you posted on the final points standings. A few races in the books still to come for other races not in this series.

Rhett was not in it this weekend. He started out practice STRONG- in the mud 😂 and he LOVED it. This video is from his practice you can see him slippin and slidin. He was the only bike able to make it through a lap without falling over or getting a wheel stuck. This kid lives for the mud. However the sun came out and dried up all the rain (🕷️ lol) and the the mud was no more. So he raced mini e-bike and 50 shaft beginner. Got last on both. I think he was genuinely sad there was no more mud. One of the races, he passed an ebike and was in 2nd place until literally the last turn on the last lap she passed him. He was so disappointed. So here we are with a 3rd for mini ebike, a 4th for 50 shaft beginner, and a new attitude for next weekend at crossroads.

Thankful for a sport where the community of kids help bring up other kids. An older kid came over to Rhett and gave him a big hug when he saw Rhett crying 🥹

TUFFMAN Equipment & Supply has a new piece of equipment 👀 and she purty. We’ve got a whole new track in the works. Cant wait to show yall what the track looks like when we’re all done. Gonna be filled with lots of dirt, bigger jumps, and an actual path 😅✌🏼🙌🏼

Thanks Tuffman ! Ross Wriker said it was extremely easy to use if you’re interested in renting one for your own track, or landscaping or whatever project you’ve got going on. They’ll take good care of you.

Splitting wood for campfires at the dirt bike tracks is a lot of work. It’s hard to find good help 😂 Rhett is supposed to be picking up the logs off the ground and stacking them up in the wood pile. He’s got the attention span of a gnat 🤦🏽

We’ve got two big races left this season
Pusheta Creek Mx on October 17th and Crossroads Mx on October 24th. Let’s do this 💪🏼

Homeward bound from Milan Mx with a 1st and 3rd place award and Rhett’s very first holeshot 🏁 💪🏼 With a messed up bike and bad battery, Rhett still went out and got himself a 3rd place (out of 3 😅😂👏🏼) This kid tried a brand new track, rode on sand he’s never really ridden on, with a whole gang cheering him on.

So proud of Rhett finishing strong. We’ve got 2 rounds left of the series: Puschetta Creek on October 17th and then October 24th at Crossroads Mx.

Want to give a big shoutout to lil bro who couldn’t race today but practiced his heart out at the kids track. On his birthday. Happy 2nd birthday lil bro !
