We got a few laps of practice in and are ready to hit the track tomorrow ! Jammin on our way to Pymatuning Holeshot Raceway for race day tomorrow ! So far we’re sitting on 3rd in points for the season we’ve been working on our positioning, footing, and overall confidence. He’s lookin’ real good. Practice starts at 11am tomorrow so there’s plenty of time to come on out and show us some love!

We’ll have First Acres Homestead stand set up, with some information and goodies from our awesome sponsors TUFFMAN Equipment & Supply and Valley Ford of Huron (Valley Automotive Group) come say hi 👋🏼 and give Rhett some love before his race!

Throwback to last Sunday when I told Rhett if he gave it his 100% in the last moto, we’d go get ice cream. The kid loves him some ice cream. Nailed the jump out of the gate and was pushing for the holeshot… until he got tangled up with a few dudes near the first turn 🥺Poor kiddo. Still made it out with an 8th out of 11. He got back up, dried his eyes and rode the rest of his race with 100%. To the ice cream shop we went ! (He’s on the orange bike #341 towards the left of the screen)

The moment we’ve all been waiting for !! RHETT’s SPECIALS at Valley Ford of Huron 🫶🏼 we’ve felt like family since we started getting our truck serviced there. So not only would we love to see our friends and family in good quality vehicles, but we’d like you to save money in the process ! What a perfect time to those of you waiting to trade in your old vehicle and check out the awesome SUVs and trucks they have on the lot (seriously, what a huge selection 👀)

Also, did you know Valley will come to you for some service appointments- for free!? They’ll do the oil change right in our driveway which is much more convenient for us with two small kids. We’re not down and out for very long, so it’s really nice for us.

What a weekend! We got to Amherst Meadowlarks on Friday night and Rhett out in some good practice laps. His first turn he wound up in the swamp in between the peewee track and the big track 👀🥴😅😆 He had a rough first moto placing 10th out 11. Second moto he put his all into it! He nailed the jump right out of the gate but ultimately found himself in a pile up. He picked himself up and got back on with a hurt pinky. I’m so proud of him. He did better on the second moto and he really pushed himself. He was a bit slow but I think still shook up from the pile up. He placed 8th out 11 and got 8th overall. He was pretty bummed he did not get a trophy but I thinking it’s motivation for the next one. We supported his best friend getting a 5th place trophy which is what this community is all about. I’m so proud of this guy and all he accomplished. Standing up on the hills, putting his foot down in the turns, looking ahead… we’re looking real good- just need to hit that throttle harder 🤣

Thank you again to TUFFMAN Equipment & Supply - we’ll be renting equipment ASAP to work on our backyard track. Got some stuff planned 😉

Took 3rd place ! He didn’t think he was going to get a trophy, but his eyes lit up when he got it. We only got one moto in because the skies dumped a flood on the track. Crossroads MX Track we were so impressed with your quick action in trying to get all the practices and classes in before the rain. They got 20 out of 24 classes practiced and raced before the rain. We’re so grateful for all your hard work on the track and the time it takes for y’all to put races together. Thanks for having a race. We’ll take one moto over none at all.

Now onto the next race at Amherst Meadowlarks for tomorrow. Practice starts at 8:30, racing to follow! See y’all there !
