🏆 CONGRATULATIONS to Indian Lake Little League 2, sponsored by Holt Automotive, on earning the title of CHAMPIONS this season! 🥇⚾

The championship game couldn’t have been any more exciting! Down to the final at-bat, IL LL 2 rallied to score two runs and edged out IL LL 1 by a final score of 6-5 to capture the county title.

What an incredible accomplishment for our program to have two Indian Lake Little League teams competing for the county championship…and a third IL team in it until semi-finals. It speaks volumes about the hard work of our players, coaches, and families and the bright future of Indian Lake baseball.

Congratulations to both teams on an outstanding season! We can’t wait to watch these boys continue to play together, grow as teammates, and develop into even better baseball players in the years ahead. ❤️🖤⚾

Congratulations to our 12U softball team, proudly sponsored by Holder’s Hideaway in Lakeview, on finishing as the Logan County Gold Bracket Runner-Up! 🥈

This team showed tremendous growth all season long. They came to every practice ready to learn, worked hard to improve, and carried those lessons onto the field each game. Their dedication and perseverance paid off, proving they belong among the top teams in Logan County. We couldn’t be prouder of these girls and everything they accomplished!

We also want to take a moment to recognize an incredible supporter of our community, Brian Holder, owner of Holder’s Hideaway, and his wife, Brenda Moots Holder

Brian is currently facing a difficult battle with cancer and has experienced many challenges in recent weeks. If you’ve ever had the privilege of knowing Brian, you know his heart has always been invested in the youth of our community. Whether it was helping a young hunter get properly fitted with gear at Indian Lake Outfitters, taking the time to set up a bow, or simply encouraging kids to pursue the outdoors and the activities they love, Brian has always been there to support the next generation.

Brian, we hope you know that the same kindness, generosity, and encouragement you’ve shown so many others are being returned to you through the thoughts and prayers of this community. On the hard days especially, we want you to remember how deeply you are loved, appreciated, and supported.

Congratulations again to this outstanding team, and thank you, Brian and Brenda, for all you’ve done in supporting Indian Lake Youth Ball Association and the community.

🥎 Indian Lake 8U girls softball, sponsored by Biggby Coffee of Bellefontaine, took home 3rd place in this year’s Logan County tournament.
The girls started off on the right foot with a win against Rushsylvania in their 8:30 am game Saturday morning. They went on to beat Kenton 2 and Bellefontaine 1 in their next two afternoon games. In their fourth game of the day they received their first loss to Zansfield 1. On Sunday afternoon Indian Lake would fall 1 run short to Belle Center 1, earning them a 3rd place finish. The girls fought hard all weekend in a tough 19 team double elimination tournament.

Coaches and parents are proud of the great job they did all year!

Indian Lake T-Ball 4, sponsored by the Washington Township Police Officers Association, are the
𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗔𝗡 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗬 𝗧-𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦! 🏆⚾️

The road to the championship wasn’t easy. Indian Lake 4 faced a tough and highly talented Indian Lake 2 team during a play-in game on Friday. On Saturday, Indian Lake 4 defeated DeGraff 1 and Indian Lake 3 to move onto the semi finals on Sunday.
Indian Lake 4 beat Zanesfield 1 in the semi final game and met a very tough and highly skilled Ridgemont 1 team in the championship. Ultimately, Indian Lake 4 put together a big third inning at the plate and came out victorious.

The team includes Paisley Thompson, Parker Thompson, Wynter Winegardner, Walker Winegardner, Bexley Schnarre, Silas Stevens, Liam Narcizo, Daylin Lykins, Daniel Butler, Blake Smith and Bradlee Lamb. They are coached by Michael Thompson, Cody Winegardner and Taylor Schnarre.

Statement from IL Coach Pitch 4 coach, Josh Smith:
⚾️⚾️
Indian Lake Coach Pitch 4, sponsored by Ray Hensley, Inc. cruised through the first two games of the tournament on Saturday beating Ridgemont 2 18-1, followed up by a 17-3 victory over IL 3.

Sunday’s opener vs Zanesfield 1 had everyone on the edge of their seats with a come from behind, last inning rally to win 4-3. We fell short by one run in the championship to Ridgemont 1 in a back and forth battle that came down to the very end, losing by a score of 13-12.

The boys had a flawless record leading up to the final game of the tournaments and proudly took home 2nd place trophies! Blood, sweat and tears were shed along our journey. One of the greatest group of kids I’ve ever had the pleasure of coaching. They improved drastically throughout the season and built bonds of friendship and memories that will last forever!

Thank you to everyone in the Indian Lake community for supporting our team along the way and to the association for making it all possible!
