Some kids don’t need to be told to “sit still”…

they need space to express what’s inside.

Because when feelings don’t have an outlet…

they come out as frustration, shutdown, or big reactions.

This summer, we give kids a different path:

✨ a space where their voice matters

Through art, movement, breathwork, and play.

Hot Take: what if your child is not giving you a hard time..
What if they are HAVING a hard time?

Most parents were never taught what to do w that in real time.

This article talks about rising parent stress and kids mental health struggles, and them being intertwined

But I think it reveals something even deeper..

We are the FIRST GENERATION of parents trying to openly prioritize our children's emotional and mental health on this level

Buuuuut.... many of us are doing it while also healing ourselves, unlearning survival patterns, navigating overwhelm, and trying to regulate our own nervous systems, too 😓

Its a lot

So if parenting feels hard sometimes, it does NOT mean you are failing.

You are learning skills that should have been modeled and taught generations ago, but it wasnt always that way.

Regulation can be learned. It is a habit. Try to create this beautoful habit for you, and for your children 💗
