🐺🎮 IT’S TIME, TIMBERWOLVES! 🎮🐺

The 2026–27 Timberwolves Esports season officially kicks off Thursday, August 20, after school!

And we’ve got a great lineup:

Whether you’re already a competitive gamer or you’ve never played organized esports before, there is a place for you here. ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME.

But this isn’t just about playing games.

Timberwolves Esports is a scholastic competitive program where students practice, compete in organized leagues against other schools, and represent Spring Valley High School. Students develop communication, teamwork, leadership, strategy, accountability, and sportsmanship while competing at the state and national levels.

🚨 PARENT MEETING — THURSDAY, AUGUST 20 @ 5:00 PM at the Spring Valley CTE building

Parents of interested students are strongly encouraged to attend!

We’ll cover the upcoming season, game titles, league competition, practice expectations, academic eligibility, forms, communication, and what it means to be part of Timberwolves Esports.

Our Timberwolves Esports Spotlight Series continues with one of the fastest-growing games in scholastic esports… Rivals!

This title is all about teamwork.

Every role matters. Every match counts.

Whether you’re leading the charge, supporting your teammates, or making the clutch play, communication, teamwork, and strategy separate good teams from great ones. It’s a game where everyone has an important role to play, and success comes from working together.

Whether you’re looking to have fun with friends or compete at a high level, Mario Kart has something for everyone. It’s easy to jump into, but there’s always room to improve—and that’s what makes it one of our most popular titles.

This past season, our Mario Kart team earned a Top 8 finish in the WV State Playoffs and competed its way into the Top 100 in the Eastern United States! 🔥

Our Timberwolves Esports team battled all the way to the State Finals and finished as State Runner-Up. These guys showed toughness, focus, and a ton of heart throughout the entire run.

It’s never easy to come up just short, but this team represented our school the right way every step of the way—and that matters.

Proud of this group. Proud of how they competed. Proud to be Wolves.
