Some exciting changes up at yurtville! A new and improved trail from the parking area to Crow’s Nest Yurt and Dark Star Cabin has been completed, and the purchase of the surrounding parcel of land has opened up an additional 130 acres for recreation. Trail work has begun and will continue as we see what challenges and opportunities the recent logging operation has provided. It will be a lot of work but we couldn’t be happier about all the possibilities!

A lot of work in this weekend. Built a wood shed, a rack for the PV panel, an outdoor shower for the yurt, and refined the rainwater collection system for Dark Star cabin. There are flowers everywhere and wild ramps are carpeting the forest floor.

Crow’s Nest Yurt 2.0 is ready for guests! A large deck for lounging and grilling, a fire pit, and a wood fired sauna are just some of the new amenities.
