How the best athletes separate themselvesšŸ‘‡šŸ¼

The athletes who separate themselves have a system, structure, and accountability when nobody is watching.

If you’re a parent or serious athlete who’s ready to take control both inside and outside the practice room, we’re here to help.

Send us a DM with ā€œCOMPLETEā€ and we’ll show you how the Complete Athlete Development System helps athletes train with purpose, stay accountable, and make measurable progress every single week.

Because the gap between good and great is built during the other 22 hours. šŸ’Ŗ

The work is workingšŸ‘‡šŸ¼

One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned as a coaches is this:

What gets measured, gets managed.
If you’re not assessing, you’re guessing.

Every athlete in this group left with objective proof that they’re improving.

More explosive.
More strength.
More endurance.

Assessments don’t just collect numbers. They build confidence, expose weaknesses, guide training, and show athletes that their effort is paying off.

That’s why every athlete we work with starts with a baseline and gets retested regularly.

We don’t guess.
We measure.
We adjust.
We improve.

Seeing every athlete set a new personal record last night wasn’t luck, it was the result of consistent work, accountability, and a plan backed by data.

I’m proud of every one of these guys.

This is what athlete development looks like.

Success is never a straight linešŸ‘‡šŸ¼

It’s missed shots.
Tough losses.
Bad days.
Plateaus.
Self-doubt.
Then showing up anyway.

The athletes who reach their goals aren’t the ones who avoid failure, they’re the ones who learn from it.

The ones who own the process and stay consistent.

The Complete Athlete Development System is built to help athletes navigate the ups and downs that every champion faces.

The path is never perfect. But the ones who keep going are the ones who find success.

What’s one obstacle you’ve had to overcome on your journey?

What our assessments look likešŸ‘‡šŸ¼

They’re not random workouts. They’re the starting point of a system designed to help athletes improve with purpose.

Every athlete begins with a complete assessment of key performance markers. This includes broad jumps, push ups, pull ups, planks and dead hangs.

Then we go beyond physical performance.

Our athletes also receive mental performance coaching with Coach Coco, because confidence, discipline, focus, and resilience are skills that can be trained just like strength and conditioning.

Every result is tracked. Every improvement is measured. Every month, you compete against one person…

The athlete you were yesterday.

If you’re serious about becoming stronger, more explosive, and more mentally prepared than your competition, it starts with one assessment.

How would a World Champion think?šŸ‘‡šŸ¼

If a world champion woke up in your body tomorrow, what would they do?

They’d get to work.

Last week, Olympian Brandon Escobar spoke to our athletes about how the gap between where they are and where they want to be is often smaller than they think. The biggest difference isn’t talent. It’s the standard you hold yourself to, the belief you have in yourself, and the actions you take when nobody’s watching.

🧠 Think like a champion.
šŸ’ŖšŸ¼ Train like a champion.
šŸ† Become a champion.

Focus on YOUR game planšŸ‘‡šŸ¼

Every athlete wants an edge before a big match. For a lot of high school wrestlers, that means hours of studying their opponent’s film.

I see it differently.

I remember wrestling a guy at the state tournament whose coaches spent an entire month preparing him for one thing…don’t get spladled. That single move became the focus of his preparation.

And what happened?
He got spladled.

Why? Because when your entire mindset revolves around avoiding one outcome, you often give it more attention than your own strengths.

At the high school level, I believe your time is better spent mastering your game.

Study your own matches. Find your mistakes. Fix your habits. Sharpen your offense. Improve your positioning. Build a game plan that forces your opponent to react to you.

As you reach the highest levels of the sport, studying opponents absolutely becomes more important. The best athletes in the world prepare for specific opponents because the margins are so small.

But for most high school wrestlers, the biggest advantage isn’t knowing your opponent’s plan.

It’s becoming so good at your own that it doesn’t matter.

Don’t step onto the mat hoping to survive someone else’s strengths.

Step onto the mat ready to impose your pace, execute your system, and wrestle your match.

This Sunday, mental performance coach Coach Coco | Wrestling Mental Performance Coach 🧠 and I will be covering this in depth.

The best part of coachingšŸ‘‡šŸ¼

Watching athletes realize they’re stronger than they were a month ago. Seeing the excitement when they beat a personal record they didn’t think was possible. That’s what makes all the early mornings, late nights, programming, and coaching worth it.

Every athlete who set a new PR at our latest assessment earned it. Nothing was given. It was built through consistency, discipline, and showing up when it would’ve been easier not to.

As a coach, seeing that progress is something I’ll never take for granted. I’m proud of every one of you.

Now we raise the standard again. šŸ“ˆ

The goal was never to be better than someone else.

The goal is to be better than the athlete you were yesterday.

Pros vs. AmateursšŸ‘‡šŸ¼

During our last webinar, we had the honor of hosting Olympian Brandon Escobar, who shared his experience while coaching at the legendary Jackson Wink MMA Academy, home to some of the best MMA fighters in the world.

He noticed one major difference between the pros and the amateurs.

The amateurs were the ones missing classes.

The world-class professionals, Jon Jones, Holly Holm, Aaron Pico, and Michelle Waterson never missed class.

The best in the world don’t rely on motivation. They build discipline, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to the process.

Champions understand that some days you’ll feel great, and some days you won’t. The difference is they find a way to get the work done anyway.

Which standard are you holding yourself to?

07/20/2026

YOU vs. YOUšŸ‘‡šŸ¼

The hardest opponent you’ll ever face is the one in the mirror.

Discipline is choosing to show up when motivation is gone.
Consistency is doing the work even when no one is watching.
Focus is refusing to let distractions become excuses.

Every workout is another opportunity to become stronger than yesterday. Not just physically, but mentally.

To every athlete putting in the work, keep raising your standard. The habits you build today will become the foundation of your future success. Trust the process, embrace the challenge, and never stop competing with the person you were yesterday.

This is what the Complete Athlete Development System is all about, developing athletes from the inside out.

YOU vs. YOU.

DM us ā€œDisciplineā€ if you’re ready for the system.
