This week we had 6 girls in Fort Dodge at the Iron Sharpens Iron team camp.

We were paired on up with 5 girls from Des Moines public school and 3 girls from Tea SD.

As a team we placed 6th out of 16. Made new friends, learned new skills and of course team bonding.

We had some middle school girls take the mat this weekend at HWA freestyle duals in Iowa City. Way to represent Humboldt ladies!

We had a few young ladies be named to the wrestlers to watch list. Everleigh Newell, Adalyn Laubenthal, and Avi Amen . Adalyn is listed under WBM due to her home address. We have others who are going to surprise people this coming season.

State tournaments are never easy. Long days, tough brackets, and every match means something. These girls showed toughness, grit, and the willingness to battle when it mattered.

Proud of the way they represented our program and grateful for the parents and supporters who continue to invest in these athletes. The future of girls wrestling in our community is strong.
