Six weeks.
That’s all this season was.
Six weeks ago, many of these girls walked into the room unsure—of themselves, of wrestling, of what they were capable of. Today, they walk out tougher, more confident, and more connected than they were before.
In just six weeks, we saw:
First takedowns
First hard practices pushed through
First matches that didn’t go their way—and the courage to come back anyway
Growth in strength, discipline, and belief
This season wasn’t measured by wins and losses. It was measured by determination. By girls who kept showing up. By girls who learned that being uncomfortable is part of becoming better. By girls who chose effort when quitting would’ve been easier.
What makes this group special is that they laid a foundation—not just for themselves, but for the future of this program. They proved that girls wrestling is growing, it’s strong, and it belongs here.
This is only the beginning.
The confidence gained, the lessons learned, and the bonds built in these six weeks don’t end with the season. They carry forward—into the offseason, into next year, and into the future of this team.
Proud of every girl who stepped on the mat.
Proud of the courage it took to try.
Excited for what’s coming next.
The future of this program is bright—and it’s being built right now. 💪🤼♀️
