🏁 TVQMA CLUB RACE #7 🏁

Another race weekend in the books for Holley! 🏎️💨

Last Saturday, we headed back out to TVQMA for Club Race #7 and spent Friday night trying some new setup changes on the car and continuing to learn what Holley likes behind the wheel.

Holley brought home a P2 finish in her heat race and P2 in the Rookie Main. 🏆

We did have a little bit of a learning moment in the main. Holley was feeling a little gun-shy about Spencer getting around her from previous contact and found herself riding the brake more than she needed to, which allowed a pretty big gap to develop between them. Racing is just as much mental as it is physical, especially when you're still learning, so afterward we talked about trusting herself, trusting her car, and remembering just how brave she is.

Sometimes you have to put that pedal to the metal and GO! 😜

Every time she gets in that car, she's learning something new. Right now our focus isn't just on lap times or finishing positions it's getting Holley comfortable racing around other cars, working on passing, building confidence, and giving her as many laps as possible. The speed will come with seat time and confidence.

We will not be attending the National event at American Quarter Midget Association this weekend, but we want to wish all of our TVQMA friends and fellow competitors safe travels and GOOD LUCK! 🍀🏁 We'll be cheering everyone on from afar!

For us, it's back to practice mode. More laps, more passing practice, more setup work, and most importantly, more confidence behind the wheel. 💪

A huge THANK YOU to our sponsors and everyone who continues to support her, encourage her, and cheer her on from the sidelines. It truly means so much to our family and to this little racer. 🩷🏁

The 2026 Mostek Classic Tri-Valley Quarter Midget Club is in the books! 🏁🔥
This weekend marked Holley's second Red Rookie event of the 2026 season, and we're proud of how she continues to learn and improve every time she straps into the car.
Morning practice went well, and although qualifying wasn't quite as quick as Friday's practice sessions, we were able to put together a solid first heat race and bring home the win.
In the main event, Holley was a little slow to react when the green flag dropped, which allowed Spencer to get the jump and lead the race. Holley stayed focused, drove a clean consistent race, and brought home a 2nd place on the podium. Sometimes the biggest lessons come from races like these, and we're excited to keep building from here.
A huge congratulations to Spencer on a great weekend as well. It's been so much fun watching these two young racers push each other and continue to improve every race, especially with the heat this weekend it was absolutely brutal, but everyone powered through it!

Thank you to everyone , fellow race families, and everyone who continues to cheer Holley on. We can't wait to get back out there for the next one!

Congrats Ava!!!

And that's a wrap on the tvqma buckle race. After spinning the wheel the top 2 were inverted so we started outside front row. On the start shuffled back to 4th or 5th and fell in line. She got in the inside and tried to pass 2 cars in one corner and ended up pinching herself off too much and spinning herself on corner exit. She lined back up at the tail and got to work. She ran through the field in about 10 laps and set sail. Barely missed a tangle up and after the restart she got the lead and out to a straight away lead and never got challenged again. She had an amazing weekend and swept it. Ava won her first buckle.
Can't say enough about her performance all weekend.

🏁 TVQMA Battle for the Buckle Recap 🏁
What an unforgettable weekend! This was Holley's very first quarter midget race weekend, and we couldn't be more proud of everything she accomplished.

Friday was practice, and everything went smoothly. It was a great opportunity for Holley to get comfortable with the car, the track, and the excitement of her first race weekend.

Saturday was Holley's very first race ever! She lined up against Spencer, an 8 year old girl, and the two put on an exciting show. A few laps into the first heat, Spencer made a move to try and pass that resulted in both cars getting into the Turn 2 wall. (The girls are still learning) Thankfully, both the girls and cars were okay, and they were able to continue the race. A few laps later, Spencer made a move on the inside for the lead, and the two made contact again, ending up thru the Turn 3 wall with Holley's car even sliding half way underneath the chain-link fence. It was a scary moment that understandably shook us and both girls up, but they both showed incredible toughness finishing the race, and Holley came away with the heat race win!
For the second heat race, both girls were understandably a little nervous and cautious after the earlier incidents, but they put together a clean, respectful race. Holley drove another great heat and picked up her second heat win of the day.

Sunday's feature was another great battle. Holley pulled a zero, meaning there was no invert, so she started on the pole. Spencer's car was a little stronger, and after a clean pass by Spencer a few laps into the race, she took over the lead. Holley drove a smart, consistent race and brought home a 2nd place in the main feature event.

For her very first race weekend, Holley learned so much, showed determination, courage, and had an absolute blast doing it.
We are so proud of her!

Congratulations to Spencer on her main event win! I'm so proud of both the girls.

A huge thank you to our sponsors, family, friends, TVQMA and everyone who has supported Holley. We're so grateful to have such an incredible team behind her!
