This is almost automatic at this point but once again your Hughesville Travelers are the North Branch Baseball League 2026 Champions.

Ran the gauntlet and pillaged the village to go undefeated with a 15-0 record and have not lost in over a calendar year.

This is back to back championships for the Travelers. Danville we are still your daddy.

The double champs do what they want.

Your Hughesville Travelers will be taking on Danville Bluejays on Saturday August 8th for a double header at 11am. This is the championship game that will be for all the marbles. Come out to Bodine to support the fellas as they try to repeat again this year.🇺🇸🇺🇸

A little catch up on the 2026 Hughesville Travelers season so far.

As expected the Travelers are 8-0 and at the top of the league standings.

This year the team is deep with multiple guys making impacts for the team. We have welcomed the return of most of the core players from previous teams and lured a few guys out of retirement.

We are bringing back the American Traveler of the Game this year.

5/30 Mifflinburg

Game 1

Owen Berry- 1-3, RBI, run and threw a complete game with 12 strikeouts

Game 2

Mike Laychur- 2-4, 4 RBI, and scored a run

6/6 Danville

Game 1

Joel Verrico- 2-3, HR, 2B, RBI, run

Mike Ernest- CG, 1 ER, 5 K’s

Game 2

Tyler Wetzel- 2-3, HR, 5 RBI, 2 runs

6/20 Berwick

Christian Fish- So good this day he wins player of the game for both. 6-8 at the dish and threw 2.2 innings of hitless relief to get the win

6/23- Norry

Taylor Falk- Kirk Gibsoned the s**t out a ball to hit his first homerun ever at 35

6/25 Norry

Owen Berry yet again, if you haven’t noticed he is pretty damn good. 1-3, 2B, Run and threw 3 innings of relief in a monsoon

Come out to the The Bud, Bodine Park, on Saturday May 30th at 11am to watch the opening day of the NBBL for the Travelers. It is a double header so bring a chair and watch some baseball! 🇺🇸
