Legacy Clays Homeschool Trap Team Legacy Clays was formed to allow homeschool students an opportunity to participate in one of the fastest growing sports for high school students.

What a great season we had! It was great to have a new addition to the team, although we did lose one to injury before the season started. While the season has ended, the friendships and focus on growing our program remain strong! Here are some shots from our virtual Nationals tournament. One of the most amazing moments of the season was during one of the rounds, all 3 of our shooters hit their first 15 clays in a row. It was so fun to watch!

Matt finished with an 87, Jonah finished with 86 and Addison finished with 48. Addison had a season high of 16, great work for our newest team member, especially knowing she just began the sport early this year and already moved from a 20 gauge to a 12 gauge! We can't wait to see what next season has in store for this team! 🙏🏻

Nearly 300 athletes competed in the Foothills Challenge Trap event. Our 3 athletes continue to make us proud at their effort, attitude and achievements! Keep working hard and have fun out there!

We had some great weather with bright blue skies today for our reserve shoot week.

Matt shot a couple great rounds with a 24 and 23. Jonah also had a couple great rounds shooting a 24 and 24. Our newest team member Addison put up some amazing numbers for having just started shooting a month ago with a 14 and 18! This team is doing great! George decided to shoot a round with the team and spent a great deal of time talking with our athletes and giving them pointers on how to continue to improve their game! Thank you George!

Well week 2 of practice is in the books! It was another fantastic week for our team!

Matt has some great scores this week starting off with 23, 23 and then decided to make a switch. Well the switch did him well and he shot 25. 2 25's in 2 weeks, great job, keep it up!

Jonah had a great week, shooting a 25 on his first round and putting up a couple more scores in the 20's.

Addison continues to impress! Having only recently started trap shooting (this is her 2nd practice), she decided 1 week of practice with a 20 gauge was enough and moved up to a 12 gauge. This move paid off as she doubled her score from the previous round!

While the weather wasn't ideal, it was a great start to the Spring 2026 season! We are missing a teammate this year due to an injury, Caleb. Prayers for a speedy recovery!

A big welcome to our newest team member, Addison! While she has only been shooting for a short time, she had a great day smashing clays!

Congrats to Matt, who knocked the cobwebs off for the year, shooting a 25 on his first round. Great start, having not shot since around June of Last year.

Jonah also had a great day putting up scores in the 20's, also having not shot in a while!

Great day today! Excited to see what this season brings for these 3!
