An imperfect season lead to pure beast mode for the U9 Boys in this year's YAYSL tournament. Entering the tournament the Bulldogs were ranked #1 and pulled victories over Canfield 4-1, Poland 4-0, and in the championship game Howland 5-0. Way to go young men. Total domination and excellent team effort. It's a great day to be a Bulldog!

Lakeview Bulldogs YAYSL U13 girls went out to Canfield tonight for a makeup game. They somehow got their hands on some pink “eye black” and some pink ribbons tattoos. The girls tatted & marked themselves all up en route to finishing the game in a hard fought tie. Goal scored by Gabby Root!!! Lily Nichols was making crucial saves between the posts!!!

Another great video we received from the Lakeview Bulldogs YAYSL U13 boys vs. Poland from last night is this one of Bear Burkey sending a through ball up and over the top. Loukas Costas wins the foot race to the great pass, taking one touch, before finishing it off for the goal!!!!

Last night the Lakeview Bulldogs YAYSL U13 boys got to play in Don Richards Memorial Stadium on the turf under the lights vs. Poland. They came away with a stunning victory. Goals were scored by Loukas Costas, Bear Burkey, Sam Duva, & Prestyn Kearns. The goals were assisted by Brady Rager, Loukas Costas, & Bear Burkey. James Tyliszczak & Crosby Crowe combined to keep a clean sheet at goalie.

Our first video from this game is Loukas Costas taking a shot that gets blocked by the goalie, but Sam Duva crashes hard from the backside to slam that ball into the back of the net!!!!

Lakeview Bulldogs YAYSL U12 girls team finished up their season yesterday evening. Great job battling tough opponents and getting some great wins along the way. In order to make this team work we had to pull up mostly U10 & U11 girls to have enough. They showed so much improvement all season long as they continued to play very tough against older girls. We are so proud of the attitude, effort, athleticism, & improvement from the following Lakeview student athletes:

4th graders (U10 girls):
- Mila Corp
- Alayna Nichols
- Charlotte Sturgeon
- Lyla Kane

5th graders (U11 girls):
- Riley Costas
- Ava Durig
- Addyson Price
- Ryder Meyer
- Maddie Hyde

6th graders (U12 girls):
- Charlotte Humphrey
- Daisy Roberts
- Calli Bush
- Lily Nichols
- Athena Giar

Our 4th graders will rejoin their U10 team to finish out their season and play in the end of season tournament. Our 5th & 6th graders will go back up with our U13 & U14 girls teams to finish out those seasons & play in the end of season tournaments towards the end of October. Great season ladies!!! And thank you to all the parents, families, & friends for supporting these girls!!!

Yesterday the U10 ladies hosted the 2nd place team, Poland. This was a very physical game but the girls rose to the occasion and played their BEST game yet walking away with a 4-1 victory. Goal scorers were Lyla Kane, Alayna Nichols and Leah Bayus (x2). This moves us into second place with one more game to play before the year-end tournament. Let’s keep the momentum going!

U9 Bulldogs were stringing passes together today leading to a 8-0 victory over Hubbard. Goal scorers include Dawson Hall, Hudson Williams, Brantley Roberts, Logan Root, Henrik Spring. Goal tending was locked down by Brantley Roberts and Sawyer Jones. That concludes the regular season as we now prepare for the tournament. At this time we'd like to recognize our sponsors including Integrity First Homes, Allen's Towing, and Great Lakes Cheese.
