RAYON Defeat Tx diablos On Multiple Hit Performance By Epi Hernandez

Epi Hernandez collected three hits in four at bats, as RAYON defeated Tx diablos 14-5 on Sunday at Coastal Baseball Park. Hernandez doubled in the second inning, doubled in the sixth inning, and singled in the seventh inning.
RAYON opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. RAYON first got on the board when Adrian Gonzalez singled, scoring two runs.
A double by Hernandez extended the RAYON lead to 6-0 in the top of the second inning.
RAYON scored five runs on five hits in the top of the sixth inning. Shayne Cruz doubled, scoring two runs, Gonzalez doubled, scoring one run, and Adriel Lopez doubled, scoring two runs.
Brandon Pendley earned the win for RAYON. The hurler gave up 13 hits and five runs over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking none. Sean stepped on the bump first for Tx diablos. The right-handed pitcher surrendered 10 hits and 10 runs (nine earned) over five innings, striking out four and walking six.
RAYON accumulated 15 hits in the game. Gonzalez went 2-for-5 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Julio Treviño and Cruz each collected multiple hits for RAYON. RAYON worked the count all day, amassing eight walks.
Tx diablos accumulated 13 hits in the game. Garrett provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Tx diablos with three runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Eloy and Dillan each collected three hits for Tx diablos. Riley and Colton each collected multiple hits for Tx diablos.
