Behind every great cook-off is a dedicated Head Judge who helps ensure every team is judged fairly, every contest is conducted with integrity, and every event reflects the values of the International Barbeque Cookers Association.

Today, we're honored to shine the spotlight on Head Judge Rose Simola, who has proudly served the IBCA as a Head Judge for 13 years. During those years, Rose has become known for her professionalism, fairness, leadership, and the genuine care she shows every promoter, cook, judge, and volunteer she meets. From competing with Smokin' Roses BBQ to helping build the Grillin' To The Bone Points Chase Series, Rose has dedicated countless hours to strengthening our organization and growing the competition BBQ community.
