Space City Bayou Roller Derby is a pickup open gender, horizontal roller derby league in Houston, TX whose mission is to build each other up both on and off the track. We are a grassroots all gender roller derby league dedicated to uplifting our skaters and community.

Check out Daisies & Pancakes! Houston's only Black-owned skate shop is incredible.

This is an incredible skate shop here in Houston in the 3rd ward. They are actually the only skate shop within city limits right now with a store front. The business owners are incredible, and they told me the story of how the man who used to live in the home that became this shop, walked in the day before I did, and showed them where he kept his bed. It was beautiful to hear about.
