Thank you to Fernando Limas, a proud North Shore Softball parent, for speaking on behalf of our program at the GPISD Board Meeting tonight. We also want to thank the girls who attended and represented North Shore Softball at tonight’s meeting. Their presence showed that being involved and engaged in our school community is important to us. We are grateful for the support and dedication of our players, families and community as we continue to grow the North Shore Softball program.

Day 2 of the North Shore Softball Camp was a success!

The rain may have rolled through but it definitely didn’t keep us from getting our work in. We were able to adapt and overcome and thankfully move camp into our cages so we could continue developing and putting in the work.

Over the last two days, we had the opportunity to work with more than 60 future North Shore Mustangs. The coaching staff is incredibly grateful for the effort and energy shown by every athlete who attended. It was exciting to see players of all ages working hard and allowing us to help grow their love for the game.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made this camp such a success. The future of North Shore Softball is bright and we can’t wait to see what these young athletes accomplish in the years ahead.

Good afternoon everybody, we did receive the shirts, but unfortunately, Coach Burns is going out of town tomorrow for Tennessee to coach a softball tournament. Tuesday, June 9 from 11 to 12 I will be there to hand out the remaining shirts to players who did not receive them.

First Session – Camp is not canceled. We are currently under a lightning and rain delay. Once the rain stops and we get the all clear we will transition to the cages and finish our hitting portion of camp today.

Second Session – Camp will be held in the cages as long as there is no lightning. We will focus on hitting.

We appreciate everyone's patience and flexibility as we work around the weather. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Day 1 of the North Shore Softball Camp was a huge success! Between both sessions, we had around 60 athletes in attendance. It was definitely hot but the girls battled through the heat and worked extremely hard while learning the importance of communication and the fundamentals of the game they love.

The future is bright for North Shore Softball and we couldn't be more excited about what lies ahead. A huge thank you to all of the campers, parents, coaches and players who helped make today such a great experience.

Now it's time for Day 2! Tomorrow, we'll bring out the bats and focus on offense. We can't wait to see everyone back at the field!

🚨 🚨 🚨 North Shore Community Please Share For Camp Tomorrow 🚨 🚨 🚨

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Tomorrow is Day 1 of our Softball Camp and we are excited to see all of our campers! Please take a moment to review the information below regarding arrival, check-in and camp procedures. We will be accepting walk-up registrations tomorrow for anyone signing up late. Payment must be made through RevTrak. No cash payments will be accepted.

1st Session (2nd–5th Graders)

Arrival: Gates will remain closed until 8:00 AM. Check-in will begin at 8:00 AM and our players will help direct you to the check-in table located under the press box.

Attire: Camp shirts will arrive on Tuesday, so please have your player wear their favorite softball jersey or team shirt tomorrow.

Camp will begin promptly at 8:30 AM. Please bring a water bottle that can be refilled throughout the day. Water will be provided.

Parents are welcome to stay and watch. We simply ask that you help us encourage your player to stay engaged, pay attention and remain with their group, as we will be operating on a tight schedule.

2nd Session (6th–9th Graders)

Arrival: Check-in will begin at 11:00 AM and camp will start promptly at 11:30 AM.

Please have players remain out of the dugouts and off the field until the first session has concluded and camp staff have finished transitioning between groups.

We are looking forward to a great first day of camp and can't wait to work with your players!

We have had a lot of interest in this camp and we are asking everyone to please take a moment to share this post on your page. We spoke with a lot of kids at the junior highs and want to make sure everyone knows how to sign up for the camp.

Registration ends on TODAY May 27, so please get your player signed up so they don’t miss out on the opportunity to work with the coaches and players at the high school.

We highly encourage all players to attend, especially incoming 8th graders, as this is a great opportunity to get to know the coaches and become familiar with the program.

All information regarding camp times and cost can be found on the flyer.
