On Feb. 14th, Texas Game Wardens assigned to Matagorda county rescued 40 sea turtles from East Matagorda Bay. These turtles were stunned from the severe cold weather conditions. The sea turtles were transported to the dock where they were released to rehabbers.

Texas Game Wardens along the coast will continue to monitor the situation as we this winter event passes through the state.

The Rubber Lip Round Up Series has unified with a few other Series Tours to create the PROFESSIONAL REDFISH LEAGUE. We are the League for the Anglers. There will be 4 divisions That include Florida, Louisiana, Upper Texas Coast (Us), and Lower Texas Coast (SARS). In this League Anglers will compete to qualify to earn a spot to go to the Professional Redfish League National Championship in Louisiana.
