After months of planning and building, this home gym is finally complete — and the 86” RX3 Tornado Smith Machine is at the center of it. 🔥
With a REP BlackWing, 125 lb dumbbells, custom flooring, and plenty of room to grow, this setup is looking seriously dialed in.
Only a treadmill and a few cable accessories left to complete the picture. 👀

The RX3 Vortex takes the Tornado concept and streamlines it.

200 LB single stack → upgradeable to 250 LB
1:1 lat pulldown + low row → built for heavier pulls
2:1 Tornado arms → dynamic functional training
More open space → more room for storage & attachments

Moving the weight stack to the back creates more usable real estate for pegboards, shelves, J-cups, spotter arms, and more.

The trade-off is less individual weight-selection flexibility and a longer footprint than the Tornado.

But if your priority is simplicity, organization, and an all-in-one setup, the Vortex takes the RX3 in a different direction.
